Springleaf Prata Place, a popular Singapore eatery, has introduced an attractive promotion: an all-you-can-eat prata buffet for only S$9.90. This promotion runs from 29 May to 30 Jun 2024, and is offered at 2 locations: Rainbow Centre (Seeds Cafe) and Pasir Panjang, daily.

The buffet offers over 25 different types of prata, including both savoury and sweet alternatives. Classics such as Plain Prata, Paper Prata, and Plaster Prata can be served with egg, cheese, onion, and mushroom toppings. Dessert pratas include Red Bean Prata, Chocolate Prata, and the unique Prontoast, which mixes prata with French toast.

I feel that this deal is definitely a steal considering that one Egg Cheese Prata (S$5.50) is already $5.50, you would have made your money back and some more with just 2 of these pratas.

With the Kiasu (scared to lose) Singaporean mentality, here’s some tips on how to beat and enjoy the buffet:

  1. Go hungry: With so many delectable options, you’ll want to take advantage of the unlimited deal.
  2. Pace yourself: Begin with the lighter pratas and eventually go to the richer, heavier ones.
  3. Try everything: Go for the more expensive flavours and avoid just having the plain pratas.
  4. Hydrate: Keep a drink nearby to balance out the rich and spicy flavours.

As part of the buffet, patrons can order 2 pratas at a time within a 90-minute dining window, and any food loss is taxed at S$5 per 100g.

If you are near the area, I recommend you come down and give it a shot!
