This one’s for all you croissant-lovin’ sneakerheads. Well-known sneaker brand, Superga, has paired up with Singaporean’s homegrown favourite bakery, Tiong Bahru Bakery, to give you a collaboration you never knew you wanted but need. Read on to find out how you can cop a pair of limited edition flaky kicks and even get a free croissant while at it.
The collection will include three limited edition high top sneakers which will come in different shades of white. The artsy sneakers are also designed with the bakery and café’s history in mind with a mix of croissant motifs.
The first pair of sneakers will feature cream-coloured high tops with bright green bottoms and the Tiong Bahru Bakery’s iconic Aztec prints on the heel. On the sides, you will find embroidered patches of a croissant, lightning bolt and TBB’s logo with the phrase, ‘A croissant a day, keeps the doctor away’ printed on them. Cute, right?
If you’re looking for something to pair with any outfit, you can opt for the second or third pair. The second pair is covered in croissant prints against an off-white canvas while the third is a minimalistic pair boasting a bright white canvas with a subtle Aztec print and a metal bread tag attached to one of the laces.
All three sneakers will have a special Superga x TBB tab in green attached to the back of the heel for additional oomph. The sneakers will be priced at S$119 each.
The sneakers will be released at 11am on 13 November 2021 at the Superga store at Takashimaya S.C. in addition to unveiling a special Superga x TBB immersive café experience where the first 60 customers will receive a free croissant and juice.
