In our 12th episode of ‘Tapau Please’ by SethLui.com, we get a lil’ more serious as Zat & Wani pick at each other’s brains about their personal opinion regarding food business scandals and if the public should still support said businesses.
With the latest one to hit the news—Beef Bro‘s Norvan Tan charged with sexual assault—is it still acceptable to spend your money with their business? Or are we missing the bigger picture when it comes to boycotting a business simply because of one owner’s behaviour?
But what if people got sick from the establishment’s food, or worse, someone died as a result? Would that still warrant a visit, or is that a good enough reason to shut the business down for good?
This topic may be a sensitive one to some, but we believe it’s an important conversation to have, especially when F&B businesses’ survival is literally in our hands, especially when there’s a food scandal involved. Share your thoughts with us on our Facebook page, and share this with anyone who has an opinion on the matter. We want to hear your voice!
