Indonesian food fans, hear me out. THREE. by Garamika is a new cafe that will be officially open sometime in Feb 2023 along 94 Lorong 4 Toa Payoh, serving up authentic and modern Indonesian cuisines.
THREE. by Garamika is a cafe run by 3 sisters who grew up with their mother’s signature oxtail recipe. Their goal is to spread love through delicately handcrafted dishes. The cafe’s simple Korean-like aesthetics is contrasted against its more rooted traditional Indonesian dishes.
One of its dishes is the Traditional Oxtail Soup (S$16.50), which is more commonly known as Sop Buntut in Bahasa Indonesia. You can even add rice to the hearty soup for S$1.50.
If you prefer something that will tingle your taste buds, you can opt for their Rawon Oxtail Soup (S$16.50) which has a dark broth rich with spices. Alternatively, those who prefer chicken can opt for their Chicken Soup with Beancurd Skin (S$11.50).
Unsurprisingly, one of the current best-sellers is the ever-familiar Gado – Gado (S$10.50). This assortment of vegetables, eggs and prawn crackers is finished with their very own homemade gado gado sauce. The dish is also suitable for vegetarians.
For something more filling, you can go for items such as Signature Fried Oxtail (S$17.50) with a choice of either rice or fries. You can even get a grilled variant in the form of a Grilled Oxtail (S$17.50). Those not so into oxtail can choose their chicken options such as Fried Chicken and Grilled Chicken with both going for S$12.50 each.
Additionally, there’s the Dessert of The Day (S$3.50) which currently has options ranging from Kolok Pisang to Banana Fritters. Currently, the cafe isn’t halal certified but their dishes contain no pork or lard.
