2020 is the Year of the Rat, and on top of the usual sumptuous spread of Chinese New Year dinners, we can look forward to mouse-themed dishes and yusheng.

It comes with 18 premium ingredients including homemade braised sea cucumber, 10-head abalone, Canadian lobster, Hokkaido scallops, pig’s trotters, and the rare Yunnan black tiger palm mushroom (云南黑虎掌菌) that is said to boost the body’s immune system.
Another notable a la carte dish is the Signature Roasted Suckling Pig With Glutinous Rice (S$428 for 4kg). The tender, juicy suckling pig is stuffed with five-grain glutinous rice, and each bite is full of savoury, succulent meat, crackling skin and chewy rice.

From 1 January – 8 February 2020, gather your loved ones for a festive feast atop the National Gallery. The set menus range from S$98++ to S$198++ per person, and Lunar New Year a la carte dishes are also available from 24 January – 8 February 2020.

Celebrate Lunar New Year in a different way, and savour a Thai-Teochew feast at Soi Thai Soi Nice. The Chinese New Year exclusive dishes are available from 17 January – 8 February 2020, and include peng cai and yusheng with a twist.
Choose from Prosperous Salmon Yusheng or the unique Soaring Soft Shell Crab Yusheng (S$32.80++ for four pax, S$48.80++ for eight pax).
