If you’re tired of the classic chocolate or vanilla ice cream, now’s the time to switch it up. Cornetto‘s latest flavour is the UniCornetto, and this unicorn-themed ice cream has quietly landed on our shores.

Topped with pastel pink and white chocolate rice crispies, the pastel blue and purple ice cream even came with a pretty pink cone. It’ll definitely brighten up your Instagram feed with a bit of unicorn magic!

Sadly, the UniCornetto didn’t taste quite as magical as it looked.

Expecting it to taste like Paddlepop, we were quite disappointed that instead it reminded us oddly of flavoured medicine. The aftertaste was more bearable, but it didn’t taste much like the cotton candy we expected.

Thankfully, it wasn’t entirely a flop. We thought that the frozen strawberry jam in the core of the cone was the saving grace. Each bite tasted almost like the old-school one-dollar raspberry ripple ice cream flavour.

We heard that you can only get it at selected 7-Eleven outlets, but we decided to try our luck. Fortunately, we actually managed to find it in a nearby Cheers store.

While it was too sweet for us, it’s still a fun alternative to your usual chocolate or vanilla Cornetto fix. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, then you’ll enjoy this special edition of Cornetto.

Psst, in case you were wondering, we got ours at the Cheers outlet right outside Tanjong Pagar MRT.

Date & Time: Now available at selected 7-Eleven & Cheers outlets

Price: S$2.60
