Officially launching on 2 Sep, VivoCity’s refreshed Basement 2 presents an expanded dining haven with even more F&B choices.

VivoCity revamped Basement 2 - stores

After taking a walk through its sleek new halls recently, here are some stores that caught my eye.

Giraffa’s Japanese cheese curry bread

Though it was a weekday afternoon, there were already enthusiastic customers in line, excited to get a hold of one of these Giraffa cheesy buns (promo price S$3.60, usual price S$5.60). There is also currently an opening promo, offering a 50% discount voucher for your next visit.

Fast food corner featuring A&W

Besides returning favourites like McDonald’s, Jolibee and Burger King, the basement has also introduced a welcoming A&W outlet decked out in its iconic orange. A great spot to catch up with friends over some root beer.

Birds of Paradise lands in VivoCity

VivoCity revamped Basement 2 - Birds of Paradise

Beloved gelato boutique Birds of Paradise now has an outlet here. In fact, it would be hard to miss, being in plain sight as you enter the basement by the stairs from Harbourfront MRT Exit E. There is a small seating area in this store, but I wouldn’t place my bet on it with how popular it would be. Still, this is great news for ice cream fans looking for more options in the south of Singapore!

More international bakeries

Bread lovers will be spoilt for choice too. From local favourites like BreadTalk to Japanese bakeries like Gokoku to pastry shops like The French American Bakery, there is something for any kind of bread craving.

More sweet treats

VivoCity revamped Basement 2 - Cakebar

Cakebar and Mister Donut also have new spots in the VivoCity Basement 2. Those who have a sweet tooth will be happy to know that these stores are offering limited-time promotions as well. Cakebar is offering a free single cake for every purchase of 2 cakes, from now till 11 Sep, while Mister Donut has a S$25 for 12 donuts bundle from now till 30 Sep

Exciting dining options & promos coming soon

VivoCity revamped Basement 2 - Kopitiam

Lastly, there are also highly anticipated openings after the new basement officially launches on 2 Sep. For example, the Kopitiam Food Hall will return with 30 uniquely designed food stalls inspired by global street markets.
