2025 is soon coming to a close and that means it’s time to prepare for a new year ahead and welcome 2026 with fireworks! Beyond just the usual New Year’s Eve celebrations you would expect at the Marina Bay and Kallang areas, several heartlands across Singapore will also have countdown celebrations and fireworks displays for you to enjoy.

Heartland areas with fireworks to watch

If you are nearby or in these areas on New Year’s Eve, you will be able to count down to 2026 and watch fireworks for free:

1. Boon Lay

  • Location: Hardcourt in front of Block 215 Boon Lay Place
  • Time: 7pm – 12.30am
  • Free access: Fireworks, live performances and game booths

2. Keat Hong

  • Location: Keat Hong Square, hardcourt next to Keat Hong Community Club
  • Time: 8pm – 12.15am
  • Free access: Fireworks
  • Paid admission: Carnival games, food booths and live performances

3. Marsiling

  • Location: Woodlands Secondary School
  • Time: 8pm – 12.15am
  • Free access: Fireworks
  • Paid admission: Live performances and activity booths

4. Nee Soon

  • Location: Open field next to FutsalArena @ Yishun
  • Time: 8pm – 12.20am
  • Free access: Fireworks, live performances, carnival rides, games and youth market booths

5. Punggol

  • Location: One Punggol, The Plaza and Open Field areas
  • Time: 6pm – 12.30am
  • Free access: Fireworks, live performances, carnival rides and games

6. Tampines

  • Location: Our Tampines Hub, Town Square and Festive Area (Level 1)
  • Time: 12pm – 12.30am
  • Free access: Fireworks
  • Free with registration: Live performances, family-centric activities and community open mic sessions

7. Woodlands 

  • Location: Woodlands Waterfront
  • Time: 9pm – 12am
  • Free with registration: Drone show, carnival rides, games, live band and music performances
  • Note: There are no fireworks displays here

  • Paid admission: Togetherland by World Christmas Market

4. Sentosa

  • Location: Various spots around Sentosa
  • Time: 12pm – 1am
  • Free access: Fireworks, Mediacorp Let’s Celebrate 2026 Countdown Show, Movies by the Beach and festive installations
  • Paid admission: PAC-MAN Carnival
