1. Adrift
Award-winning chef David Myers combines Asian influences with Californian ingredients in a weekday
lunch menu ($19++) that features salads, skewers, seafood, and meats grilled over bincho charcoal.
We love the sound of bigeye tuna tartare (it comes tossed with wasabi mayo and is served on rice nigiri), roasted young chicken with lemon miso paste and burnt lemon, and the broken meringue served with yuzu sorbet, Kyoho grapes, and rose cream. Yum!

2. The Bird Southern Table & Bar
Nothing says comfort food like a towering mountain of crispy chicken, and a lunch visit here will inevitably lead to a glorious food coma.
Be sure to arrive on an empty stomach; three-courses of delectable treats ($40++) including fried green tomato and crispy pork belly, fried chicken with chilled, spiced watermelon and house-made biscuits, and fried Oreos await! An astonishing food-fest at a bargain price.

3. Bread Street Kitchen
A Gordon Ramsay experience under $50 is a total steal in our book. The weekday lunch menu (refreshed
seasonally, at $40++ for two courses and $48++ for three courses) features delights, including cured salmon with avocado puree, pan-fried sea bass with zucchini noodles and fennel sauce, and grilled Iberico pork T-bone with colcannon mash potato.
For an extra $8 add in a dessert; lemon posset with double chocolate shortbread is hard to resist at that price.

4. db Bistro & Oyster Bar
Head to db Bistro for French flair, stunning seafood, and excellent service. Though oysters don’t make an appearance on the express lunch menu ($32++ for two courses and $42++ for three courses), there are still plenty of classic dishes to tantalise your taste buds.
Think duck pate en croûte, cavatelli bolognese, or the genius ‘French dip’: a roasted prime beef and gruyère sandwich on garlic bread.
Top tip: order the steak tartare. It’s prepared tableside and is a feast for the eyes, as well as the stomach.

5. RISE
Fresh sushi and sashimi, juicy roast meats, live cooking stations, and a myriad of local specialities (think ayam percik in peanut sauce and prawn laksa) are but a few of the delights on offer at this sumptuous weekday lunch buffet spread ($56++).
While you’re there be sure to check out the herb garden; many of the plants and herbs grown here make an appearance in the dishes you’ll find on the buffet lineup. Don’t forget to pace yourself; the dessert table is also brimming with sweet treats you’ll want to save space for.

6. Spago
Require a venue with wow factor? Spago, and its stunning panoramic view 57 floors up can’t fail to impress. Chef Wolfgang Puck’s generous three-course lunch menu is also a triumph.
Featuring a selection of three starters and five mains, there’s plenty to choose from and it all sounds divine. Think chicken ‘laksa’ spring rolls, bincho grilled salmon salad, grilled Angus beef burger, and steamed red snapper with bok choy and lotus root. A coconut-passion fruit trifle rounds off this epic $45 (yes, really!) feast.

7. Pizzeria Mozza
Okay, we know it’s not a set menu. But the pizza and daily specials here start from $20, and we think that deserves a nod as it’s still a pretty sweet deal.
Thanks to top chefs, Mario Batali and Nancy Silverton, you can expect authentic Italian flavours, and arguably some of the best pizza in Singapore. The fennel sausage, panna, mozzarella, red onion, and scallion pizza is our top pick.

8. Osteria Mozza
Start your weekend with a relaxing lunch at Osteria Mozza and indulge in its three-course set menu for $48++. World-class, fancy Italian dining doesn’t get more affordable than this!
Chow down on wagyu beef tartare, burrata, tagliatelle with oxtail ragu, and orecchiette with sausage and swiss chard. We recommend the pasta; their chefs are in by 7am every morning to handcraft over 14 different varieties, including gluten-free options.
