Watch Alvin Mark Tan’s La Kopi oil-painting sketchbook come to life on 22 September 2017, as BooksActually brings you to cafes throughout the Tiong Bahru estate.

Discover the science of coffee beans, captured in the art of watercolours, inks and oils. Learn more about the technical processes of roasting and brewing through Alvin Mark Tan’s paintings of cafes and kopitiams alike.

The tour explores the eclectic cafes in the area – look out for favourites like Plain Vanilla, Flock Cafe, 40 Hands, the Kopi Museum at Tiong Bahru Market and more.

Enjoy the complimentary coffee samples and a copy of the La Kopi sketchbook, when you purchase a ticket.
