Steak lovers will be well acquainted with the generous cuts and classy dining experience at Morton’s The Steakhouse. Here’s some good news: Morton’s has just launched a limited time Fall 2017 menu, and the selection looks amazing.

Seven new dishes join an already stunning repertoire on the steakhouse’s menu, bringing a taste of autumn to tropical Singapore.

Mortons Beet & Goat Cheese Salad

The Beet & Goat Cheese Salad ($26++) started off my meal with bright colours and a tangy flavour. The increasingly popular beetroot added just the right amount of crunch and juiciness to the salad.

The goat cheese gave this bed of baby greens a sharp salty layer, and the candied walnuts popped with unexpected crunch and sweetness.

Morton's Fall Menu 02

After the light and refreshing salad, one of the new seafood dishes was served – the Moules Marinières ($47++), which featured plump, juicy mussels stewed in a fragrant white wine broth.

Don’t forget to mop up the last dregs of the broth with the complimentary Onion Bread Loaf. Soft and fluffy with a flavourful kick of onion, this addictive bread will have you reaching for seconds, and thirds.

But don’t get too carried away though, because you’ll want to save some space for the real highlights.

Morton's Fall Menu 05

Savour the new addition to the restaurant’s sinfully good steak selection – the 10oz American Wagyu New York Strip ($138++) is exquisitely marbled, and delivered a chewy and succulent experience. Cooked medium rare, which I believe is the best way to have your steak, this generous slab practically oozes beefy goodness.

Mortons Bone In Filet

If you’re looking for something with a fattier layer, Morton’s has you covered with the 14oz Bone-in Filet Mignon ($138++). That soft, fatty layer simply just melts in your mouth! Tender and succulent, this is perfect for steak lovers who enjoy their steak with minimal chewing but maximum flavour.

I really enjoyed the steak bites with their condiments, and the blue cheese in particular stood out to me. Sharp and savoury, it added an interesting dimension to the meaty flavours.

Mortons Mashed Truffle Cauliflower

If you’re wondering about sides, the Truffle Cauliflower Mash ($28++) is one that you don’t want to miss. With the crusty cheese top layer and smooth texture, this mash made for a comforting pairing with the heavy steak flavours.

One side is never enough, so go big and order the other seasonal side as well. The Maple Glazed Sweet Potato Fries ($24++) were a delight to the senses – perfectly crispy on the outside with delicious bacon bits, the fries were soft and sweet on the inside. The perfect blend of sweet and savoury!

Morton's Chocolate Layer Cake

Finally, end off the meal with a truly decadent dessert. The Morton’s Chocolate Layer Cake ($24++) is one of those sindulgent desserts that are meant to be shared. With four layers of rich chocolate, you definitely want to save some room for this humongous portion of chocolate cake.
