Amongst the multitude of bubble tea joints popping up all over the island, Toast Box Singapore has joined the party with their latest addition, the 嘿糖珍珠奶茶 Hey Pearl Milk Tea.
They’ve taken their signature teh bing (iced tea with milk) and enhanced it into a beverage with greater depth of flavour.
Apart from the teh that constitutes most of the drink, they’ve also included a dash of chocolate malt powder and added gula melaka black sugar pearls.
To seal the deal, it’s then topped off with a layer of creamy milk foam. Altogether, it sounds absolutely yummy, but what I want to know is if Toast Box can deliver as they promise.
I tried to get my hands on them personally but was too slow on both occasions – they’d already run out for the day. So remember to get your hands on them early lest you end up like me. We’ll see if it’s got anything on the longstanding player in the bubble tea scene: R&B tea’s 青蛙撞奶 Brown Sugar Pearls Milk Tea.
