Finally, the unicorn food trend had gasped its last breath, I thought to myself as I scrolled through Instagram, realising that everyone is now taking pictures of bubble tea cups and posing for photos as they sip on the huge plastic straws.
But, boy was I wrong, when one of my favourite go-to snack joint Jollibean—in collaboration with Nestle—introduced the Unicorn Series which includes a Unicorn Soy Freeze (S$3.90) and Unicorn Mini Rolls (S$3) to usher in this Christmas season.
The Unicorn Soy Freeze is a dusty pink strawberry soy ice-blended beverage laced with swirls of blue chocolate sauce, topped with a Nestle Kit Kat and sprinkles of pastel stars—mimicking the horn and mane of this mystical creature.
In addition to the beverage, the Unicorn Mini Rolls features pink, blue and yellow pancakes generously slathered with red bean, Nestle’s Docello hazelnut with peanut chunks and Jollibean’s signature peanut spread.
These unicorn treats will available from now till 7 Jan 2020 at all Jollibean outlets. Do note that only the first 1000 customers will be able to enjoy a free Kit Kat bar with the purchase of the Unicorn Combo (S$6.90).
