Located in Suntec City, this relatively new and popular pancake shop, fluffstack, has been selling fluffy soufflé pancakes that captured many with its jiggly visuals both online and offline since last year.

Keep a lookout for their upcoming outlet, which will be opening in mid-March at Yishun, Northpoint City.

This time, fluffstack will release new items on their menu like the Matcha Azuki Soufflé Pancakes (S$13.80), Tiramisu Soufflé Pancakes (S$13.80), as well as Creme Brulee Soufflé Pancakes (price TBC).

Fluffstack New Items 2

The Matcha Azuki Soufflé Pancakes are available in stores now, followed by Tiramisu Soufflé Pancakes which will be launching only on 31 January 2020. Wait for the Creme Brulee Soufflé Pancakes to appear in fluffstack, as the launch date has not been announced.

Fluffstack New Items 4

The Matcha Azuki Soufflé Pancakes has two stacks of soufflé pancakes stacked on top of each other, with tons of matcha powder drizzled on top of the pancakes, topped with chantilly cream and cooked azuki beans. The matcha sauce, as well as the handmade waromochi served in a small boat, is served as side pieces to this masterpiece.

Fluffstack New Items 6

Savour the waromochi with the pancake to elevate your sweet experience. With its silky texture and cool temperature, this is surely a pleasant escape from the heat outside.

Fluffstack New Items 1

Matcha fanatics, if you want more, there’s Matcha Latte (launch date TBC, price TBC) which you can pair with your pancake—a ceremonial grade drink for a true matcha experience.

Fluffstack New Items 3

The Tiramisu Soufflé Pancakes meanwhile, impressed my dining partner and me. Desmond, the man behind fluffstack, explained that this does not contain alcohol, which surprised us with its full-bodied tiramisu flavour.

The double shot of coffee used was probably why it was that good. The tiramisu, hit the spot, with the right ratio of sweetness and bitterness.

Fluffstack New Items 5

The Creme Brulee Soufflé Pancakes were my personal favourite. With the top of the mountain of pancakes covered with burnt caramelised sugar, it complemented well with the eggy-ness of the soufflé pancakes. The pieces of raspberry at the side helps to balance out the sweetness with its tartness.

For my Muslim readers, here’s something for you. fluffstack is in the process of getting halal certification, so keep an eye out for it!
