Dishing out another new creation, KFC Singapore is launching Chipotle Meltz, available for delivery and pick up at all KFC outlets from 8 April 2020. This delicious treat might evoke memories of the Cheesy BBQ Meltz, an all-time crowd favourite which left many distressed ever since its expulsion—some even started petitions to bring them back.With many fanatics describing this menu item as the “love of their lives”, you will be thrilled and ecstatic to know that a similar rendition will be coming your way, just doused with some heat and a slightly revamped name.
An original recipe fillet, sliced into chunks, barbeque-flavoured nachos for an added crunch, sliced tomatoes, shredded mozzarella & cheddar, drizzled with smoky chipotle mayonnaise—all wrapped in a warm, inviting toasted tortilla.
The newly added sauce features chipotle, a flavour popular in Mexican cuisine, and imparts a relatively mild but earthy spiciness to any dish it is put in. Known to be a good blend of spice, tang and rounded out with a distinct smokiness, I am psyched to see how that rolls out for me!
