It’s that time of the year again. As we look forward to beautiful Christmas lights and ripping open our presents, there’s one thing we can’t forget about: Christmas food. Be it a flurry of log cakes, or an assortment of gingerbread cookies, all are welcome by this writer. That is why I am particularly excited to announce 2020’s Christmas promotion by Toast Box, released on 18 November 2020.

This year’s seasonal offerings from Breadtalk group’s 15-year old brand seeks to spice things up with a spanking new assortment of flavoured cakes and gift sets. Taking pride in its robust Nanyang-styled coffee, you can be sure to expect items highlighting Toast Box’s signature kopi, as well as exclusive merchandise to spend your Christmas in style.

First up, we will have a look at the Cakes for the Yuletide. The Choco Cherry Forest (S$13.50) is a refreshing spin on Toast Box’s classic Black Forest cake, offering rum-infused vanilla cream filling between layers of chocolate sponge—yum. The whole affair is then bathed in a rich chocolate ganache. Definitely one to try for the cocoa lovers out there.

In an apt dark and light pairing, the Winter Cherry Butter (S$14.80) makes an appearance in the form of buttercream frosting and shredded coconut shavings, all resting on a butter pound cake base. If it doesn’t sound sinful enough, you can expect embellishments of almond slices and a mix of red and green cherries.

Of course, if you aren’t looking to devour a whole cake, note that they also come in slices. This way, you can try out both irresistible flavours. Toast Box is offering a slice of either flavours paired with a cup of their freshly brewed Nanyang kopi at the price of S$4, at all Toast Box outlets. What a steal. Hurry, for this promotion is while stocks last.

Next, festive gift sets are among Toast Box’s promotional Christmas items. With a total of 5 different sets, each one is carefully curated to highlight the brand’s signature items. Gift Set B (S$22.10) follows the theme of breakfast, consisting of Hainanese Kaya, Peanut Butter and Coffee Sachets. This way, one can easily recreate their favourite toast sets for the morning, right in the comfort of their homes.
