The New Balance 327 Diner pop-up is dedicated to the company’s best-selling athleisure shoe, the iconic New Balance 327. In a reinvention of 1970s sneaker legends, the brand new New Balance 327 is a homage to the classic 300 series and the designs distinctive of the 1970s.
Infused with contemporary details and contrasting colour palette, the New Balance 327 is an embodiment of retro-meets-modern.
With retro 1970s American diner touches, a pastel turquoise and pink colour scheme as well as exciting merchandise, this pop-up is sure to delight fans.
From 14 to 27 December 2020, shoppers who purchase any colourway of the New Balance 327 shoes (S$149 to S$189) will receive either a tote bag or T-shirt that they can customise. Purchases can be made online, at New Balance Bugis Junction and VivoCity. Designed in collaboration with local creative studio, Tell Your Children, the merchandise will be digitally customised and printed on the spot to satisfy all our instant-gratification needs.
To live up to the diner theme, shoppers who purchase the New Balance 327BTK or 327SFB colourways at the Diner pop-up from 14 to 20 December 2020 get to enjoy a treat from one of three collaborators. These are Apiary, Two Men Bagel House, and Windowsill Pies.
How am I going to decide between a refreshingly sweet ice cream, a bagel sandwich jam-packed with the crispiest of bacon and egg, and a warm handmade pie?
Though we won’t actually get to eat in the diner, I’m happy soaking up the atmosphere before enjoying the food holed up in the comfort of home.
