The month of February is my favourite for a couple of reasons. The first one is that it’s my birthday month and the heavily commercialised month of love. One of the greatest loves has to be Netflix, I mean their suggestions clearly show that they know you. They slew of new shows just tells me Netflix is always trying new things to keep the relationship fun, so here are a couple of shows you should look out for.

With the final instalment of To All The Boys: Always and Forever premiering on 12 February 2021, it’s time to bid Lara Jean and Peter adieu. Of course, in true TATB fashion, this last movie doesn’t come without its usual lovable hiccups about growing up and finding yourself.

Relationships are not all about butterflies and glitter, and Malcolm and Marie (available 5 February) perfectly encapsulate the good, the bad, and the ugly. A beautifully shot black and white film starring Zendaya and John David Washington, prepare for an emotional roller coaster of this romantic reckoning.

Korean cinema and TV is having a real moment, and I’m all for it. The compelling stories and exciting sequences transcend the language, so look forward to films like Space Sweepers (available 5 February 2021), Sisyphus (available 17 February 2021), and Little Big Women (available 5 February 2021). Or if you’re in the mood to binge, the series featuring the charming Song Joong-ki that finds himself in the crossfire of a mafia war returns to South Korea you know, drama happens.

Other films on my radar from Netflix have to be the film I Care A Lot (available 19 February 2021), with the incomparable Rosamund Pike. Gone Girl, anyone? That ‘Cool Girl’ monologue still lives in my head rent-free. If not the anime series High-rise Invasion (available 25 February) should keep you on the edge of your seat.

Either way, it’s going to an exciting month on Netflix.
