Winner of the Singapore Gelato Championship in 2019, Denzy Gelato, has opened its second outlet at 684 Hougang Avenue 8 on 13 Jan 2023, serving the same award-winning gelato. Its other outlet is located at 509 Bedok North Street 3.

In 2019, Denzy Gelato’s co-founder, Damien, earned the title of “Singapore’s Best Gelato” in a competition organised by the Dessert Association Singapore. The winning flavour, Pear, Ginger and Ginger Flower was inspired by observing his father using ginger flowers to prepare Chinese rojak.

Denzy Gelato handcrafts its frozen goods with meticulously sourced high-quality ingredients every single day. Their production line also recycles 100% water during production. The cost for a Single Scoop starts from S$4.20 whilst Double Scoop is from S$7.50 onwards.

You could even opt for their Waffles (S$5.80) and Brownies (S$6.30) with the option to add gelato scoops from S$3.60 onwards.

Denzy Gelato has kindly recommended 3 flavours. The Orange Chocolate is crafted with homemade orange cake chunks that are blended with chocolate shavings in a creamy vanilla base. They also use whole upcycled oranges (with orange skin) when baking the orange cake to minimise waste.

Next is the Roasted Bronte Pistachio which is made with pistachios imported from Bronte, Italy. What sets these pistachios a league above the rest is that they are grown over volcanic ash and are widely known as the ‘King of Pistachios’ because of their intense and sweet flavour.

Lastly, the Mango & Yuzu features authentic yuzu juice imported from Japan as well as Alphonso mangoes. The tropical sweetness of the mango combined with the zesty yuzu flavours makes this vegan sorbet hard to resist.

There are also other flavours such as Tahitian VanillaYoghurt Speculoos and Whisky & Salted Pecan Brittle.

With Singapore’s cold weather slowly fading away, this new outlet couldn’t have come at a more opportune time!
