Popular Tanglin Crispy Curry Puff will be opening its second outlet at 878C Tampines Avenue 8 on 28 Feb 2023. This is the first time that the popular curry puff stall has ever opened a 2nd outlet, ever since its 70 years of operations in Tanglin.
With much fanfare, the news was announced on Tanglin Crispy Curry Puff’s Facebook page, with many giving recommendations on where the stall should head to next, such as Yishun, Bedok and the West.
Tanglin Crispy Curry Puff came to prominence back in 2022 when it was involved in a family feud between the sons of the owner, Ng Yong Cheong. Currently, its Hong Lim Market & Food Centre outlet, which is the original stall, is run by Ray, the younger brother.
The new outlet at Tampines will be a collaboration with Buey Tahan See-Food, and it seems like both brands will occupy the same storefront. The popular curry puff stall has attained multiple awards, has even been included in Michelin Guide on the top 5 curry puff in Singapore.
Their curry puffs are renowned for being really flaky and crispy. It also has a buttery finish along with a generous amount of piping hot fillings. You can opt for different varieties of curry puffs, such as Sardine Potato with Egg, Fish Otah, Chicken Potato with Egg, Sardine Potato with Egg, Fish Otah and Chicken Potato with Egg, all of which are priced affordably at S$2 each.
It’s about time that even more get to experience one of the island’s best curry puffs!
