It’s likely that many of us have already visited the newly-opened Thai Supermarket at Aperia Mall, where a perpetual queue can be observed in front of Talad Thai Banana. Here’s some excellent news for those residing in the Ang Mo Kio area: the renowned fried fritter establishment will be inaugurating its 2nd branch at the basement of AMK Hub on 8 Nov 2023.

While Talad Thai Banana may not be the original fried fritter vendor from Golden Mile Complex, it has undeniably achieved a level of quality and popularity equal to its predecessor.

These yummy morsels are coated in a batter that contains sesame seeds, which makes you feel like you’re eating a butterfly fritter (beh hei ji)!
