Fellow Northies, it’s time to get excited— Gino’s East Pizza, a famous pizza eatery from Chicago, has launched its very first pop-up in Singapore, bringing its delicious Chicago-style deep-dish pizzas to Northpoint City.

The pop-up is in collaboration with Singapore’s very own Tenderfresh brand— you’ll be able to order pizzas from Gino’s East while dining in at Tenderfresh Classic in Basement 1 of the mall.

Gino’s East has been operating in Chicago since 1966, and has even been recognised on the Michelin Guide website.

Gino’s East will be offering 4 types of deep-dish pizzas: Cheesy Legend (S$28), Crumbled Chicken Sausage (S$25), Spinach Margherita (S$28) and Meaty Legend, which has yet to be launched. Each pizza comes with a thick crust, built to hold the large amount of ingredients within. Plus, prices are all nett, making your deep-dish pizza experience all the more affordable.

gino's east - cheesy legend

Cheesy Legend is an ultra-cheesy pizza that is made with 4 kinds of cheese— every bite of this indulgent creation is filled with stretchy, savoury cheese, and an addictive chunky tomato sauce to complement it. I was blown away by how rich and indulgent this creation was. Compared to regular flat pizzas, this was certainly a lot messier (and more satisfying) to consume!

Those who prefer their pizzas with more ingredients can opt for Crumbled Chicken Sausage, which is filled with a unique crumbled sausage that reminds me a bit of minced meat, or Spinach Margherita, which offers a slightly creamier take on the deep-dish pizzas.

The deep-dish pizzas from the Gino’s East pop-up will be sold in limited quantities daily, so be sure to head down a little earlier to avoid disappointment.

As the Gino’s East pop-up is located within Tenderfresh Classic, it means that you can also order any dish on the menu at Tenderfresh, so that you can enjoy a wide variety of different mains, sides and drinks to go with your pizza. Definitely get the signature fried chicken and unique mocktails to enjoy an unforgettable feast!
