There’s nothing quite like a freshly-made pizza to warm the soul (and the stomach). Between the delightfully pillowy crusts and the endless array of toppings, pizza is simply one of the best things in the world. I’m always open to new recommendations!

You can easily have a pizza delivered right to your door for a movie night, enjoyed in the absolute comfort of your pyjamas. Nothing beats the authentic experience, though— my personal favourite is pizza that’s piping hot and straight out of the restaurant’s oven. So, where can you find the absolute best oven-fresh pizza in Singapore?
In celebration of this cheesy perfection, we’ve tracked down the 19 best places to get a slice in Singapore that you absolutely need to try.
1. Il Clay by Margheri
Il Clay by Margheri brings the heart of Naples to Clarke Quay with a vibrant dual-concept experience — it’s a Napoli pizzeria by day and a chic dining lounge by night. Founded by award-winning pizza maestro Chef Ciro Sorrentino, ranked Top 11 in Asia-Pacific and Top 67 in the World, Il Clay celebrates the soul of authentic Italian dining through its signature handcrafted pizzas and creative Italian dishes.

Each pizza is made using 48-hour proofed dough, hand-stretched and baked in a traditional clay oven for the perfect balance of chew and char.

While the must-try pizzas — like the indulgent 6 Cheese & Honey, the bold 6 Star, and the Sofia Loren — are incredible, you’ll also want to try their pasta dishes, such as the 100-Layer Lasagna and Langoustine Spaghetti. Each is a showcase of Chef Ciro’s meticulous craftsmanship and flair for flavour.
The 6-star stole the show. It was a decadent pairing where the rich, creamy burrata melted perfectly with the salty bite of the ham pieces. The Sofia Loren was an intriguing pizza to say the least. It featured a thin, crunchy, and almost wafer-like base that was generously topped with anchovies, giving every bite a wonderfully salty finish.
We intentionally saved the 6 Cheese & Honey pizza for last — this was comfort food at its finest. The pizza was intensely cheesy and gooey, with the aromatic honey adding a delicious layer of golden sweetness that elevated the classic savoury flavour.

With its exciting Clarke Quay location, Il Clay’s lively vibe makes it ideal for date nights, casual gatherings and late-night suppers. The lounge transitions seamlessly into an after-hours destination featuring creative cocktails, curated wine pairings and an authentic Italian supper culture.
To celebrate Chef Ciro’s latest ranking in the Top Pizza World 2025, diners can enjoy handcrafted cocktails at just S$6.70 with any pizza order. Night owls can also join the Il Clay Supper Night every Friday and Saturday after 11pm and enjoy 1-for-1 pizzas and free-flow drinks for S$60++ over 2 hours.

2. Acqua e Farina (Keong Saik)

Instead of the usual Italian fare like cacio e pepe and pizza margherita, the 2nd outlet of Acqua e Farina at 35A Keong Saik Road offers unique fusion dishes that combine the influences from both Northern and Southern Italy.
The pizzas here follow a painstakingly-researched Italian recipe that has been specially created to achieve the perfect balance of chew, mouth-feel and flavour. Ever heard of deep-fried pizza dough? I know I haven’t, so I was blown away when Chef Antonio Manetto demonstrated to us the process of making the twice-cooked Montanara (S$37++).

The 36-hour rested dough is first hand-kneaded into a circle and deep-fried till golden brown in clean oil. Next, a Naples-style meat and tomato sauce that’s been slow-cooked for 8 hours together with Wagyu beef ribs is drizzled on top.
Nduja (spicy Calabrian sausage) and house-made pork sausage is then sprinkled on top, together with parmesan cheese and a little Italian Mozzarella before being baked. This process expels any remaining oil from the dough. Finally, creamy burrata, arugula and a drizzle of olive oil completes the masterpiece. The result is a crispy and fluffy pizza that’s surprisingly not oily and so delicious.
If you love creamy pizzas instead of tomato ones, give the Pizza Tarfuto (S$37+) a try. It’s a white-based pizza topped with mascarpone, creamy mozzarella, mushrooms and black truffle.

You can also savour their array of outlet-exclusive dishes like the Tegamino con Cipolle, Asparagi e Guanciale (S$33++), a simple but delicious combination of a 5-hour caramelised onion mixture, pan-fried asparagus and crunchy guanciale.
Also not-to-be-missed are the Tagliatelle al Cacao con Gamberetti e Nduja (S$36) and Risotto ai Ricci di Mare e Bottarga (S$36).

3. d.o.c

You’ll find d.o.c along South Beach Avenue, and this authentic Italian restaurant serves up wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizzas. Interestingly, d.o.c. stands for “denominazione di origine controllata”, which is literally translated to “designation of origin”.
d.o.c is run by Chef Marco and Chef Cesare, 2 professional pizzaiolos— chefs who have been trained to make real, Italian-style pizzas— with more than 20 years of experience in making pizzas. In fact, all pizza dough are handcrafted by the both of them and takes up to 20 hours to proof. It’s then cooked in d.o.c’s Beech-Ovens stone hearth oven using applewood.

Sporting 39 pizza options like the classic Prosciutto Funghi (S$34++) and Porchetta (S$36++), d.o.c truly has everything you might want in a pizzeria.
Go for its Parma Rucola (S$38++) with tomato, mozzarella, parma ham, rocket salad and parmesan, or try the Zucca (S$44++) which has pumpkin cream, mozzarella, grana padano, pancetta and capers. If you’re up for something special, try the Pinocchio (S$40++) as it has pistachio cream, mozzarella, porcini and pork sausage— a real unique combination!

4. La Nonna

Holland Village may not be the same as it once was, but icons like La Nonna along Lorong Mambong — which has been around since 2005 — preserve a sense of familiarity. A cosy trattoria known for its traditional pizzas, pastas, and hearty mains. La Nonna is a local favourite for family meals and weekday lunches. Meaning “The Grandmother” in Italian, it exudes a rustic charm that immediately makes you feel at home.

The pizzas are hand-kneaded using a 48-hour fermented sourdough recipe, and are crafted only upon order. Each masterpiece is then cooked to perfection in their custom-built wood-fired oven. The menu also includes handmade pastas and delectable, wholesome mains.
To celebrate La Nonna turning 20, they are offering 1-for-1 on all pizzas and pastas — talk about ageing gracefully! So go ahead, bring your family and friends to share some delicious Italian fare.

It would be a crime to leave La Nonna without ordering their signature Pizza La Nonna (S$26). It was crowned with tomato, parmesan, mozzarella, asparagus, a soft-boiled egg and black truffle paste. Every bite was a carnival in my mouth, filled with different textures and tastes. I didn’t expect earthy truffle, tangy tomato sauce and creamy egg to work so well on a pizza.

The new Pizza Bizmarck (S$27) is another heavenly creamy and earthy creation, topped with mozzarella, mortadella ham, creamy truffle sauce, and a soft, jiggly egg in the centre.

To switch things up, you can enjoy the lip-smacking Macaroni & Cheese Della Nonna (S$22) bursting with bits of ham and gratinated with a rich blend of Italian cheeses. Seafood fans who adore a little spicy kick can give the Ravioli Della Nonna (S$28) a go. It’s stuffed with lobster and doused in a generous amount of fiery Arrabbiata sauce to tingle your taste buds.

The promotions also extend to La Nonna’s mains, with everything going at 30% off (dine-in and takeaway). Prepare to be blown away — just like we were — by the Agnello (S$39). It features 3 pieces of grilled lamb rack cooked to a lovely medium. Best Part? Not an ounce of that off-putting gaminess. It’s served with comforting grilled Mediterranean veggies.

5. PizzaExpress

PizzaExpress originated in London’s Soho back in 1965 and has gradually grown into a global brand with over 600 outlets. With 4 situated in Singapore, this pizza chain is one of the best and dishes out house-made Italian classic and Romana pizzas using only the freshest premium ingredients.

With its inviting and cosy ambience, customers can enjoy a diverse range of pizzas that cater to all ages and differing tastes. If thin crust pizzas are your jam, then you mustn’t miss out on PizzaExpress’s Romana (13”) pizzas, crafted on bases as thin as the napkins on your table!
It features loaded, high quality toppings which are laid atop their famous thin crust, renowned for the most extreme toppings-to-dough ratio in Singapore.

The Hawaii-not is a creative twist to the conventional Hawaiian. This white-based pizza is lined with a luscious layer of creamy béchamel at the bottom. Next, ham, pineapple chutney, red onion rings, mozzarella, and basil are placed on top. It’s then finished off with parmesan, garlic oil, chopped parsley and fresh basil.
As the crust is extremely thin and the ingredients are hefty, you’ll need 2 hands to hold the pizza in order to savour it — a testament of PizzaExpress’s paper-thin thickness.

You can also feast on classics like the tangy and savoury American, a lovely combination of pepperoni, mozzarella and smooth-as-silk passata sauce.
PizzaExpress offers island-wide delivery to be enjoyed in the comfort of your home or anywhere for just S$6. Orders above S$100 are eligible for FREE delivery.

For a classy yet cosy Italian touch, try Amò. This chic restaurant is located along Hong Kong Street and is part of the ilLido Group, which was founded by renowned Italian restaurateur-chef Beppe De Vito.

8. LUCE (InterContinental Singapore)

For an exceptionally authentic, hand-tossed version of your favourite circle-ish food, try InterContinental Singapore’s LUCE. It’s lunch and dinner buffet features 4 offerings of Pinsa on rotation.
For the uninitiated, Pinsa is a Roman-style pizza which is a cross between traditional pizza and focaccia bread. More elliptical than round, it is made from a dough of wheat, soy and rice flour and is considered pizza’s healthier cousin.
Hand-tossed with love and expertise by Pizza Chef Giuseppe Di Gaetano, these culinary delights are a symphony of flavours and textures.

To experience the savoury flavours of the sea, LUCE’s Napoli features umami-filled anchovies, garlic, capers, and homemade Tomato sauce. For a unique combination, the Bronte is a harmony of bacon, fior di latte, stracciatella, and pistachio crumbs.

9. L’antica Pizzeria Da Michele

Since 1870, L’antica Pizzeria Da Michele at Club Street has been using an age-old-recipe that has been passed down through generations to craft their Neopolitan-style pizzas— that’s like 155 years old, woah!
The original restaurant in Naples was actually featured in the 2010 movie Eat, Pray, Love, in which Julia Roberts is seen enjoying their pizza while conversing with a friend. Recognisable by its large 15-inch thin base, the ‘wagon wheel pizza’ is crafted by using quality Caputo flour for its dough.
Believe it or not, each pizza is cooked in a custom-made domed brick oven from Italy for only 30 to 50 seconds— that’s super fast!

For the purists, the classic Margherita (S$28++) has tomato sauce, pecorino Romano cheese, Agerola fior di latte and aromatic fresh basil. The crust is light as a cloud and has a satisfying chewy texture.
Give the Friarelli & Salsiccia (S$36++) a go, it contains friarelli napoletani (Italian leafy greens) and Italian sausages for a unique flavour combination that’s rarely seen.
The Cetara (S$34++) is a heavenly mix of tomato sauce, Agerola fior di latte, pecorino Romano, Cetara anchovies, Leccino olives and capers. The anchovies are highly sought after for their intense and refined savoury notes.

10. La Pizzaiola

The story behind La Pizzaiola is a heartwarming one. Its owners, Loris and Guiseppe, used to frequent a small, cosy and warm pizzeria in Italy helmed by a friendly lady. This pizzeria was known as La Pizzaiola.
With the aim of recreating that fond experience, Loris and Guiseppe sought to start an authentic, pocket-friendly and more importantly, down-to-earth Italian pizza and pasta eatery. It currently has 3 outlets: Jalan Riang, Kalidasa Avenue near Lentor and Bukit Timah.

La Pizzaiola’s pizza is as classic as it gets— there’s the Margherita (S$19.90++), Calzone (S$22.90++), Verdure (S$21.90++) and other favourites like Quattro Formaggi & Honey (S$25.90++).
For those a fan of pineapples on pizza, you might be glad to know that La Pizzaiola offers the Hawaiana (S$23.90++), which has Italian tomato sauce, mozzarella, cooked ++). This loaded pizza has Italian tomato sauce, mozzarella, roast beef slices, shaved parmesan cheese, arugula salad and truffle oil.

11. Mr Kneady’s

Have you ever come across artisanal pizza in a hawker centre? Check out Mr Kneady’s, a humble hawker stall in The Bedok Marketplace at Simpang Bedok, as it sells handmade sourdough pizza.
All pizzas are freshly made upon order by 36-year-old Lionel, who actually has a wheat allergy! To counter this, he decided to specialise in sourdough.

As Mr Kneady’s is single-handedly run by Lionel, its menu is comparatively leaner than others, with only 6 pizzas to choose from that range from sweet to savoury. We decided to try one of each and got the Vox Populi (S$17), a taco-inspired sourdough pizza with jalapenos, pork sausage, cheddar and mozzarella, as well as the only sweet sourdough pizza, the Art of War (S$14).
The Vox Populi was pure cheesy, meaty goodness with a piquant sourness and slight heat, while the Art of War surprised me as it reminded me more of a banana streusel pie. While I personally prefer savoury pizzas, Mr Kneady’s Art of War won me over in a heartbeat with its crunchy notes.
This is a place I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fuss-free pizza option in a hawker centre. Not to mention, its pizzas are much cheaper than those served at restaurants!

12. Etna Italian Restaurant

The humble trattoria has evolved to a more sophisticated ristorante, taking on a contemporary approach offering a wide range of Mediterranean-influenced dishes. It is now spruced up with a more upscale ambience, personalised hospitality and most importantly, better quality food in generous portions, at affordable trattoria prices.

Etna’s pizza offerings are straightforward, split into 2 categories: Pizze Speciali (special) and Pizze Classiche (classic). Try its luxurious Umbricella (S$34++), a stunning creation featuring mozzarella, Italian black truffle paste, cooked ham and Stracciatella cheese, or the all-time favourite Burrata (S$34++), which features fresh burrata cheese, parma ham and rocket salad.
For something a little different, get the Calzone Etna (S$32++), a stuffed pizza with mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, mushrooms, artichokes, and cooked ham, topped with tomato sauce.
It’s also a must to check out Etna’s thorough wine menu which features over 16 labels by glass and 80 labels by bottle, as every single wine has been carefully hand-picked from an array of Italian wines!

Amazingly, Bella Pizza has over 30 pizza options to pick from, ranging from red to white and even folded pizzas. From Pizza Diavola (S$27++) to Pizza Porchetta (S$26++), and well-loved favourites like Pizza Burrata (S$29++) and Pizza Chorizo (S$25++), I’m sure you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Note that it also has barca-style pizzas, which are inspired by Sicilian boats, so be sure to try Bella Pizza’s Barca Siciliana Con Salsiccia e Cipolle (S$26++), which is a pizza boat with tomato, mozzarella, Italian sausage and sauteed onions.

14. Limoncello Pizza & Grill

Limoncello Pizza & Grill is the brainchild of chef and owner Fabio Iannone (who also opened La Braceria, by the way!), and this authentic Italian restaurant is where you head to if you’re looking for casual yet stunning Italian cuisine.
It’s tucked away on a riverside terrace at Robertson Quay, giving you amazing views of the Singapore River.

Limoncello Pizza & Grill specialises in homemade pasta, Neapolitan wood-fired pizza and charcoal-grilled meat and seafood, so be prepared for a feast!
Purists, try Limoncello’s Margherita (S$20++), a fan-favourite with tomato, mozzarella and fresh basil, or its Quattro Formaggi – Four Cheese (S$30++), a classic with a white base, emmental, gorgonzola, mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
For a meatier bite, go for the Meat Lovers (S$30++), which has tomato, mozzarella, cooked ham, bacon and spice salame. But of course, you should definitely try its eponymous Limoncello (S$30++), as it uses a white base, mozzarella, beef sausage, porcini mushrooms, button mushrooms and parmesan.

15. LINO

Have you heard of LINO? This pizza and pasta bar is famous for its fresh handmade pizza and comforting pasta, and I’ve dined here plenty to know that it’s a great, no-frills spot for amazing pizza.
Currently, LINO has 2 outlets in Singapore: One within Forum the Shopping Mall and another at Binjai Park. Here’s a fun fact: LINO comes from the Italian word linen, which is used to cover pizza dough as it leavens.

LINO’s famous 12-inch Burrata (S$30++) is a must-order whenever you’re here. This is a stunning pizza that always hits the spot for me, as it features tomato passata, marinated cherry tomatoes, an entire burrata in the middle, and topped with basil pesto. It’s a real delight as you slice into the large, circular burrata and enjoy a piece of piping hot pizza with a slather of creamy, cold burrata. Mmmm!
Not a fan of burrata? Try the Mixed Meat (S$29++), a fail-safe option with beef and pork meatballs, bacon, salami, nduja, tomato passata and mozzarella, or the Prosciutto (S$29++), as it has mozzarella, tomato passata, arugula and shaved parmesan.

16. John’s Pizzeria & Bakery

While we’ve seen plenty of Neapolitan pizzas in Singapore, there hasn’t been someone who brought in the good ol’ American deep-dish pizza— until now.
Enter John’s Pizzeria & Bakery, a quaint pizza place that literally has one outlet in every part of Singapore — Lorong Kilat in the west, Alexandra Road near central, along East Coast Road, and Woodlands in the north. It’s run by a couple, Jason and Nina, who were so fond of the deep-dish pizzas that they had back in the U.S. that they decided to re-create it in Singapore.
Every American-style deep-dish pie is hand-tossed and baked to perfection, with premium ingredients like pork pepperoni imported directly from the U.S. for the best experience possible.

With a selection of 25 varieties, you’ll definitely be spoilt for choice. For something boozy, try the Deep Dish New! MVP (S$12.90++). Alternate layers of marinara sauce, vodka sauce and pesto are used before finishing off with parmesan, house-made hot honey, mozzarella cheese and extra virgin olive oil.
Pizza lovers who embrace the idea of pineapples in it can try the Deep Dish Hawaiian (S$13.90++). There’s also other flavours such as the Deep Dish Paneer Tikka (S$13.90++), Deep Dish Walnut Pesto Parmesan & Chicken Sausage (S$13.90++) and Deep Dish Truffle Tartufata (S$14.90++).

17. La Braceria Pizza & Grill

Hidden along a row of unassuming stores in the residential neighbourhood of Bukit Timah is La Braceria Pizza & Grill.
Known to be one of the best date night spots with hearty, rustic Italian food, La Braceria is headed by Chef Fabio Iannone (yes, the very same who founded Limoncello Pizza & Grill) and its kitchen is run by Chef Giovanni Minarelli, both of whom are trained Italian chefs.
Expect an extensive menu with everything you could possibly want— starters, pasta, pizza, meat dishes, seafood, dessert and wine.

La Braceria’s pizza selection is pretty traditional, with over a dozen choices like your traditional Margherita (S$21++), Diavola (S$26++), Calzone (S$26++) and Rucola e Prosciutto di Parma (S$32++).
For those who adore the earthiness of truffle, the Alla Bismark (S$30++) is a white-based pizza with mozzarella, cooked ham, egg and creamy truffle.

18. That’s My Pizza

Craving for restaurant-quality Neapolitan-style fusion pizzas? Forget about air conditioning and dressing up, head to That’s My Pizza‘s 2 outlets in your t-shirt and shorts. Yes, this local pizza establishment is located at Newton Food Centre and Bukit Timah Interim Wet Market & Food Centre.
Started by first-time hawkers, Ailyn Khoo and Christina Chan in Aug 2022, their pizzas are made using long fermented dough (reduces bloatedness), and are flame-baked in pizza ovens. Aside from savoury flavours, the stall also has dessert flavours to satisfy your sweet tooth such as Chocolate Marshmallow (S$18) and Nutella Cheese (S$20).
Before your head down, it’s recommended to pre-order your pizzas on their website at your desired branch before swinging by to collect them.

One interesting flavour that they serve is the Mala Smoked Duck (S$22). This Asian-inspired pizza is topped with mala sauce, smoked duck cubes and stretchy cheese. It has a mild spicy kick with juicy and tender smoked duck.
Not ready to be adventurous yet? Try their Parma Arugula (S$28), Applewood Bacon (S$23), or Hot Calabrian Honey Salami (S$18).

19. Pizzamaru

Let’s take a break from Italian pizzas, shall we? Pizzamaru is Singapore’s first Korean pizza restaurant, and its dough is something we’ve never seen before— it uses green tea and 12 healthy cereals to create its patented nutrient-packed dough.
Pizzamaru is also the world’s largest Korean pizza chain, so think Pizza Hut, but on a much larger global scale. You can find them at 3 locations in Singapore: Bugis+, Plaza Singapura and Jewel Changi Airport.

Pizzamaru’s pizzas are stuffed to the brim, but one you should definitely try is its Real Chicago (S$34.40++) as it uses black rice dough, 3 different types of cheese, beef pepperoni, tomato sauce, and a final dusting of icing sugar to create a sinful and indulgent experience.
If you’re a steak lover, try the ‘HI STEAK’ Chicago (S$38.40++), which has beef steak, Korean bulgogi, pepperoni, double mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce. Alternatively, go for the Garlicky BBQ Pizza (S$28.40++), as it comes with plenty of smoked chicken, turkey bacon, onion, mushroom, bell pepper and mozzarella cheese.
