If crossing the causeway and exploring Johor Bahru is your regular pastime, you’re probably always on the lookout for new places to makan at. Forget the hassle of travelling to faraway spots like Mount Austin— there’s an outdoor food court called The CaMp 4Season Outdoor Park located just a 13-minute walk from KSL City Mall.

Since the food court has an outdoor concept, I can imagine some of you might already be thinking, “how hot is it going to be?” Well thankfully, it only opens from 4pm onwards. It’s also pet friendly, so bring your furry friends along for the adventure.

With a total of 150 tables, you’ll find several deck tables and chairs spread out among mini palm trees and gravel floors. If you’re lucky, you may even secure a table at the 2-storey hollow tunnel tables that provide some shelter.

When the sun heads to its daily slumber, the whole area is lit up with fairy and LED lights, giving a warm and cosy vibe. If you’re heading there on a Friday or Saturday evening, you can enjoy soothing tunes with live performances by a lineup of singers.

So, what food options are available to satisfy your growling stomach? For starters, there are over 15 stalls selling a variety of cuisines. Let me introduce you to some of them— after all, it wouldn’t be as exciting if I revealed everything, would it?

If you’re in a group of 4 to 5, share the Value Set (RM50) which includes 12 pieces of chicken, cheese fries and cheese wedges— super worth it!

Since The CaMp 4Season Outdoor Park is opened till 2am, this is an excellent supper venue, too! There’s also lok lok, Taiwanese delights, la la hotpot, beer and so much more. Be warned though— parking and securing a seat may be challenging during peak periods.
