For all the Wanton Fu fans who were bummed when they left ARC380 in late Jan 2025, brace yourselves: they’ve reopened just a few units away on 1 Mar 2025!

After the owners, Sean and Ani, received a sudden 2-month notice to vacate, they were searching high and low to find an ideal location. In a fortunate turn of events, they were suddenly contacted by the owner of Lecker Hotdog, who offered them the opportunity to take over its unit in the same building.

Sean said, “We were about to secure a stall at CT Hub 2 when we received the offer.”

“Also, since we’ve been in the Jalan Besar area for the past 7 years and have already established a small customer base here, we figured — why not?” he added.

Wanton Fu’s new premise is slightly smaller, with a seating capacity of about 30. It retains its previous late-night operating hours, closing at midnight daily. The popular free-flow pork lard and roasted ground garlic is back for customers to enjoy.

Pork belly lovers, rejoice! The couple has unveiled a NEW bowl of Pork Belly Char Siew Wanton Noodles at S$8. How’s the texture like? Oh, it’s tender, with that perfect balance of luscious fat and meaty goodness — pure bliss in every bite!

The only bad thing about their new spot? Its visibility. Unlike their previous location, which was easily spotted from the main road, they’ve now moved indoors, making it all too easy for people to walk by without even noticing!
