The iconic Jurong Point is among the shopping malls that I, as a lifelong Westie, have frequented the most. I’m sure I’m not alone — there’s no way the largest mall in the West hasn’t made an impression on those who dwell on this side of town.

Over its many years of operation (and even a major expansion in 2006), Jurong Point has grown into a bustling hub, popular among people of all ages. Located right next to Boon Lay MRT Station and Bus Interchange, it’s been a convenient location for after-school and -work meals and weekend activities for nearly 3 decades.

Without further ado, here are the 14 best food places in Jurong Point — because whether it’s your first or umpteenth visit, this nifty guide should come in handy when you’re looking to munch in the West’s largest mall.
1. Legendary Hong Kong Restaurant (#03-80)

Transport yourself to the streets of Hong Kong at Legendary Hong Kong Restaurant’s flagship outlet on Jurong Point’s Mongkok Street. Its founders promised to bring the authentic flavours of the city to Singapore and, judging by the raving reviews, they’ve succeeded.
Legendary Hong Kong’s speciality is roast meat, specifically the Roasted London Duck (S$16.80). This delicacy is made using ducks bred in Silver Hill Farm in Ireland, which are considered the best ducks in the world.

For mains, the Wonton Noodles (S$9.80) come in Soup and Dry options, with 4 types of noodles you can choose from. 2. Tsukimi Hamburg (#B1-52)

Don’t lie, many of us have those weird raw egg yolk cravings every once in a while. If you don’t mind indulging a little, Tsukimi Hamburg in Jurong Point’s &JOY Japanese Food Street is worth a try.

Tsukimi Hamburg went viral back in 2022 and 2023 because of its signature dish, the titular Tsukimi Hamburg Don (S$13.80). Your choice of either pork or beef will be shaped into a thick patty and crowned over a bowl of fluffy Japanese rice, then topped with grated radish and a pasteurised egg yolk.
While rather meaty on its own, the patty tastes better with the added sauce for more umami. The runny raw yolk is creamy and not fishy at all — mix it with your meat and rice before digging in for that added richness.

3. Qing Nian Chun 青年春 (#02-22A/K7/K8)

Qing Nian Chun is one of the most unique joints this resident addict has seen. It hails from Suzhou, China, its Jurong Point outlet is the only one in Singapore.

The shop itself has gorgeous traditional Chinese-themed aesthetics and props, and there’s a designated seating area for customers to enjoy their drinks.

In place of pearls, their Signature Orchid Biluochun Milk Tea (S$5/S$6) and Suzhou Biluochun Milk Tea (S$5/S$6) contain whole cooked oats. A unique, healthier twist, they complement the fragrant milky tea with a delightful chew.
If you’re feeling fruity, some refreshing options available are the Grape White Peach Oolong Tea (S$7) and Mango Jasmine Tea (S$7).
To top it off, Qing Nian Chun offers desserts such as the cold Mango Pineapple Shaved Ice (S$9) and hot Suzhou Nuojiji (S$7), which contains 7 ingredients including osmanthus jelly, glutinous balls and oats. 4. Maru Mochi (#B1-85)

Maru Mochi is a Japan-famous dessert brand from Hokkaido, and this outlet in Jurong Point is one of its only 2 in Singapore (with the other residing in Bugis). The kiosk, though small, isn’t hard to spot when you enter &JOY Japanese Food Street; it’s the first one to greet you once you walk through the entrance.

Mochi Obanyaki (mochi pancakes) (S$3.20 for 1 piece, S$8.80 for 3 pieces) make up the majority of Maru Mochi’s menu. These soft and stretchy pancakes come in a range of filling flavours including Azuki Red Bean, Peanut and Purple Sweet Potato. My personal favourite is the nutty Chocolate & Hazelnut Cream, while Black Sesame is another popular pick.

The Warabi Mochi (S$4.80 for Regular, S$8.80 for Large) comes in Kinako and Matcha flavours and is the only other item on the menu.

5. Wee Nam Kee Chicken Rice (#B1-60/61)

With more than 20 outlets across Asia, Wee Nam Kee Chicken Rice has certainly made its mark on the region. This outlet featured in our Jurong Point food guide is their only Singapore outlet apart from their main branch at United Square and the air-side branch in Changi Airport Terminal 2.

No trip to Wee Nam Kee is complete without ordering their signature chicken rice. Each Chicken Set (S$11) includes a mound of tasty rice, your choice of Steamed or Roasted Chicken and either Oyster Sauce Vegetables or Dumpling Soup. Should you feel like pigging out a little more, order the BBQ or Roasted Pork (S$10.60 for S, S$15.50 for M) for some extra protein.

6. Cai Lin Ji (#03-56)

Famed for serving some of the best noodles in China, Cai Lin Ji is a must-try for those looking to try authentic Chinese street food. This famous noodle house from Hubei with over 100 eateries in China opened its first overseas outlet here in Jurong Point in 2023.

Crafted with alkaline water, their noodles possess a unique bouncy and chewy texture. Their signature dish, Zha Jiang Hot Dry Noodles (S$7.90) features these noodles tossed in an aromatic spice mixture — an absolute must-eat.
For soup-based options, the brand highly recommends the Signature Lotus Root Pork Rib Soup (S$11.90 for Small, S$19.90 for Large) featuring teeth-sinking-tender meat bathed in a rich broth.

Top up your meal with some Chinese Famous Snacks for a complete experience. For one, the Three Delicacies Dou Pi (S$4.50 for 1 piece, S$8.50 for 2 pieces) is touted as a Must-Try in this arena. The Signature Shao-Mai (S$3.90 for 3 pieces) is pretty unique, too — this Hubei variation contains sweetened fragrant glutinous rice, raisins and carrots.

7. TANG² Malatang (#02-40)

Since its opening in 2022, TANG² Malatang has become a popular dining spot in Jurong Point for those looking to cure their malatang cravings.

Before placing an order, pick your fresh ingredients from the chilled counters offering selections from meat to noodles and vegetables. They go for S$2.68 per 100g including GST, and a minimum of 300g per order is required.
Their broths are slow-brewed daily for at least two hours to bring out the richest flavours for the best soup bases. Broth flavours consist of Mala, Sauerkraut, Chicken, Tomato and the newest Tom Yum. Dry mala lovers have reason to rejoice, too, as TANG² also offers a Dry Special Tang² Mala Jumble option too.
Finally, select your spice level from the few ranging from Non-Spicy to the monstrous-sounding Devilish for those willing to take up the challenge (good luck to you…) and you’re set!

40-year-old homegrown brand Westlake serves a variety of Chinese cuisines, such as Cantonese, Hokkien and Szechuan delicacies and more.

The Taiwanese Braised Pork & Bun (S$4 for 1 piece, S$19 for 5 pieces) is Westlake’s signature dish. Think sweet, rich and fatty braised pork belly sandwiched between fluffy gua bao — great for a quick grab-and-bite. Be careful, though, as your indulgence may get a little messy if you get the sticky braise over your hands.

Yes, another Jurong Point &JOY Japanese Food Street gem! This one goes out to the ramen lovers — Ramen KIOU is just the place for you.

Look no further than the 3 stand-out dishes on the menu: the signature Toratama KIOU Ramen (S$15.90), and best-selling Deluxe Shoyu Tonkotsu Ramen (S$15.90) and Riri Tonkotsu Ramen (S$16.90). If you’re looking for atas halal Western food in Jurong Point, Brio should most certainly be on your radar. This modern European restaurant is MUIS halal-certified, and prides itself on high-quality ingredients and exquisite dishes suited to all taste buds.

A classic go-to appetiser for many is Truffle Fries Parmesan (S$11.50) — shoestring fries laden with a rich truffle aroma topped with shaved parmesan for a sharp savouriness.
Mains come with 2 sides of choice, with options like the Lemon & Herbs Chicken Thigh (S$14.80) and the slightly pricier Lamb Rib Confit with Honey BBQ Glaze (S$29.50) and 250g Aust. 100-Day Grain Fed Striploin (S$25).

One of the newest kids on the block, Cheongsujeong Korean Kitchen, has quickly established itself as a fave among Korean food junkies.

Judging by their dinner crowds, business has been booming for them so far. It’s easy to see why as they offer free-flow rice refills and unlimited self-serve banchan like kimchi alongside their mostly below S$20 mains.

Be sure to visit early, as their best hot stone rice bowl dishes: Garden Bibimbap (S$7.90) and Signature Bulgogi Beef Bibimbap (S$14.90) are wildly popular and sell like hotcakes.

The menu also includes soup and noodle dishes, such as the hearty Kimchi Beef Jjigae (S$9.90) and cold Chicken Fillet Naengmyeon (S$13.90). Light bites are offered, too, with Busan Fish Cake (S$2.90) and crispy Korean Fried Chicken (S$6.90) among the most highly recommended.

12. Dabba Street (#01-31)

Listen up, fans of Stuff’d: if you’re looking to switch up your repertoire every once in a while, Dabba Street is here to save the day. Instead of kebabs, burritos and salad bowls, this newly-opened (at the time of writing) kiosk embraces Indian and Mediterranean flavours, serving up goodies like Biryaritos, Pita/Roti, Biryani bowls and more — all with a green, additive-free and refreshing twist.

The ordering process is literally as straightforward as 1-2-3. First, pick your base — or Dabba Style, as they call it — from a selection of 4: Biryato (S$6.80), Dabba Bowl (S$8.90), Biryani (S$7.90) and Pita/Roti (S$6.80). It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s Sampanman! Decked out in lush kelong-style decor, this iconic restaurant is an ode to Singapore’s rich maritime heritage — specialising in fresh seafood dishes and feasts alongside hearty plates that pay homage to the orang laut of days past.

A staple of kelong home kitchens, the Kelong Curry Sliced Fish (S$39) is a must-try when dining in a group. Think of this as the ultimate curry fish head — minus all the tedious bone-picking — featuring tender fish slices simmered in an aromatic curry brimming of spices and fragrant coconut cream.
