Chinatown Mid-Autumn Fair - Mdm Ling Bakery

As you walk through the main entrance of Chinatown Point, one of the first booths you will notice is from Mdm Ling Bakery. They offer a unique SG60-themed mooncake set (S$66.80, U.P.: S$94) that comes with 4 mooncakes and a game board. This means that you can enjoy some sweet treats while bonding with your family over a new game.

What is meaningful about this game board is that it features artwork from artists from the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN). The SG60 Game Box, as well as many other mooncake sets at Mdm Ling Bakery, is currently over 25% off. Purchasing any 3 sets of mooncakes will also get you an extra $6 off. Make sure not to miss these deals!

20% discounts and free mooncakes

Chinatown Mid-Autumn Fair - Swiss mooncakes

If you would like to try out some mooncakes before making your purchase, visit this pair of booths from Swiss-Garden International Hotel and Swiss Cottage Bakery. Both booths offer free samples of interesting mooncake flavours such as Royale Osmanthus and Violet Harmony.

I personally had the chance to try the Violet Harmony flavour, which is a nice blend of taro and mochi. I don’t usually go for yam, but this was surprisingly pleasant to my taste buds, and was not too sweet either.

Purchasing any set of 4 mooncakes here allows you to get a 20% discount, or 2 additional mooncakes for free. But do note that if you opt for the 2x free mooncakes, you can only choose flavours without yolks.

If you’re feeling a little more extravagant, you can also check out this Wine Case Gift Set. Depending on your preference, it can include tea leaves, tea bottles, wine, and up to 8 mini-mooncakes. The set even comes with a wine bottle opener.

Mooncakes are not the only affair at this fair. You can also find booths selling snacks, decorations, accessories, and even blind boxes. So, if you’re in the area, drop by and check out the Mid-Autumn Fair at Chinatown Point.
