1. Find ‘Magic in the Stars’ with Disney on Ice

The biggest Disney on Ice show is coming to Singapore, just in time for the March holidays. ‘Magic in the Stars’ brings together the largest cast of Disney characters in one show and will also introduce some characters to the icy stage for the first time.

Your kids will get to see Elsa and Anna from ‘Frozen 2’, Lightning McQueen from ‘Cars’ and Buzz Lightyear and Woody from ‘Toy Story’ making their Disney on Ice debut. With world-class figure skating, high-flying acrobatics, surprising stunts and innovative lighting and special effects, the kids will have a memorable time watching the show. 

The audience can also look forward to iconic costumes and sets created in stunning detail, as well as familiar soundtracks from the movies. Disney on Ice’s ‘Magic in the Stars’ will be playing at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from 14 to 22 Mar on select days and time slots.

2. Battle & win at the Pokémon Mezastar Carnival

Pokémon fans, get ready! The Pokémon Mezastar Carnival is landing in Singapore for just 2 days this March with a weekend of arcade battles, collectible gameplay and family-friendly activities.

Taking place at United Square, the carnival celebrates one year of Pokémon Mezastar in Singapore, which now has more than 80 arcade locations islandwide. If you’re unfamiliar, Mezastar is an interactive arcade battle game where players collect physical Pokémon ‘Meza Tags’ and use them to battle on-screen in fast-paced matches.

Across the 2-day event, visitors can look forward to carnival-style games, interactive play zones and opportunities to try the game for themselves. Kids and long-time Pokémon fans of all ages can also snag Meza Tag giveaways and other Pokémon-themed prizes.

Things ramp up on 22 Mar, when the Mezastar Ultimate Challenge Finals take centre stage from 2pm – 6pm. The top 16 players from each category will battle it out live for the championship, making it an exciting spectacle for both participants and spectators. Organisers will also reveal details about the next upcoming Mezastar series, including new Pokémon and gameplay updates.

3. Dive into Curiosity Cove

In case you missed it, there is a new attraction at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, catered for kids 12 and under. Curiosity Cove is Singapore’s largest indoor nature-inspired playscape and is filled with interactive and educational play zones. 

Children get to explore and learn how animals live and thrive in the wild through 4 immersive Lands of Play. From the Wetlands, to the Forestlands, to the Grasslands and to the Drylands, these play zones are bursting with colour and life.

4. Experience Harry Potter: Visions of Magic

5. Enter The FRIENDS™ Experience

What should a family feel like? Friends. Now, to be fair, your kids might be too young to have watched the American sitcom before. But if you’re a fan of the series, this is arguably the best way to introduce them to it. The FRIENDS™ Experience officially opens in Singapore from 7 Mar to 3 May and is great for families too.

It is an interactive experience filled with iconic sets, props and costumes. If you’ve always wanted to take a family photo on the famous orange couch or in Monica’s Kitchen, you now can. 6. Explore Dinosaurs | Extinctions | Us

Do your kids dream of being palaeontologists? Plan a fun day out with them at Science Centre Singapore and specifically at Dinosaurs | Extinctions | Us. This 3,000-square-metre exhibition has plenty of space for the kids to roam around while being in awe of full-scale dinosaur displays

Across this dinosaur exhibition, which is Singapore’s largest, there are also rare fossils to view and interactive activities to participate in. For instance, ‘Imagine Dinosaurs’ gives kids an opportunity to create their own dinosaurs by adding colours, muscles and textures to skeletons. 

A fun ‘Digital Fossil Dig’ activity also lets the kids excavate fossils onscreen in a timed challenge, while ‘Test Your Strength’ allows them to measure their physical strength against a dinosaur’s.

7. Have a blast at Splash Wonder Water Park

From 13 Mar to 5 Apr, Sentosa’s Palawan Green will be transformed into the Splash Wonder Water Park. This pop-up event turns the area into a water playground filled with inflatable water slides, splash pools, obstacle courses and play zones, perfect for families and kids to have a splashing fun time. 

As if this weren’t already a perfect recipe to bring joy to the kids, Pingfong and Baby Shark will also be making an appearance at Splash Wonder Water Park. On selected dates, there are even meet-and-greets, sing-along sessions and photo opportunities. If you have any young children who love those characters, they will have an absolute blast.
