Liberty Walk’s first Southeast Asian flagship store is officially opening in Malaysia, giving local fans a new place to experience the iconic Japanese brand up close. Located at The Exchange TRX in Kuala Lumpur, the highly anticipated space will celebrate its grand opening on 8 & 9 Aug 2026.

Making the occasion even more special, LBWK founder Wataru Kato will be making an appearance, giving supporters and collectors a chance to meet the visionary who turned Liberty Walk into a global phenomenon.

The flagship store has been designed as more than just a retail outlet. Visitors can shop official Liberty Walk apparel and accessories, browse exclusive merchandise and collectible scale models, then unwind at the in-house cafe.

Over the years, Liberty Walk has become one of the most recognisable names in automotive culture. Its bold widebody designs have transformed everything from beloved Japanese performance cars to exotic European supercars, earning the brand a devoted following around the world.
The arrival of Liberty Walk Malaysia also highlights the country’s growing presence in the regional automotive scene, with Kuala Lumpur increasingly attracting global brands and car enthusiasts alike.
So if you’re into JDM culture, modified cars, die-cast collectibles, or simply love the LBWK aesthetic, expect this new TRX destination to draw plenty of attention. With Wataru Kato attending the launch, the opening weekend could easily become one of the biggest meetups for Malaysia’s car community this year.
