2. Celebrate Oktoberfest at People People Brewing Co. (3 Oct)

People People Brewing Co. is bringing Oktoberfest to its brewery located in WEAVE on 3 Oct 2026. From 12pm – 11pm, the one-day event features European-inspired food, freshly brewed beer, live music and festivities galore. The brewery will also be decked out in blue-and-white decorations for an even more convivial atmosphere you won’t want to miss out on. 

You can expect exclusive menu items during this special occasion. What’s a celebration without some drinks? The Mini Marzen, a lager brewed specially for Oktoberfest, will make its debut on this very day. Accompanying it is the one-day-only wood-fired menu featuring German-inspired dishes. For some small bites, tuck into the Currywurst Sausage (S$10) and  Crispy Pork Knuckle (S$35 for 2 pax).

Enjoy the Wiesnhendl Rotisserie Chicken, the brewery’s unique take on the roast chicken traditionally served at Munich’s Oktoberfest. It goes for S$16 for a quarter, S$30 for half and S$58 for a whole. Besides food, there will also be exciting live music. New Stream Brass Band will perform live throughout the day at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm, before DJ Matty takes the reins until closing.

3. Attend the UFIT Games (4 Oct)

If you love all things fitness, why not participate in UFIT Games on 4 Oct 2026? It’s Singapore’s newest partner-based fitness competition, taking place at Dover Court International School. Organised by our very own local health and fitness brand UFIT, this inaugural event will see duos aged 18+ competing in 6 performance-based challenges.

Tickets cost S$88 per pax, including exclusive merchandise such as a T-shirt and access to photos and community training. Plus, in light of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, S$20 from every pair of tickets sold will be donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

There are 2 categories, Everyday and Advanced athletes, so you can participate whether you’re new to fitness or a seasoned fitness buff. 4. Experience The Speed Station by PUMA (6 – 11 Oct)

Gearing up for the long-awaited Formula 1 race? Make a pit stop at The Speed Station by PUMA first. The immersive dual-branded pop-up will run from 6 to 11 Oct 2026 at the Level 1 Atrium of 313@somerset. If you’re a Scuderia Ferrari HP or McLaren Mastercard fan, good news: it features the iconic collections of the 2 teams. PUMA’s exclusive motorsport range will also be available at the pop-up, so be sure to explore the collections.

Besides checking out the collections, there are also interactive experiences and photo opportunities to play around with. One of the main photo opportunities is a larger-than-life helmet area, where you can capture a special photo surrounded by the oversized helmet. Head into PUMA’s 313@somerset and VivoCity outlets to snap pictures in the driver photobooths as well. 

If you prefer something extra interactive, there’s also a high-octane racing simulator where you can get into the driver’s seat. For something more heartfelt, drop by the dedicated fan wall for Scuderia Ferrari HP Driver Charles Leclerc. The fan wall is located at PUMA’s 313@somerset outlet, and you can leave messages for the Ferrari driver.

5. World Post Day 2026 (8 – 11 Oct)

Are you a stamp collector? Celebrate World Post Day 2026 with exhibitions and activities at SingPost Centre’s Level 1 Atrium. The event will be held from 8 to 11 Oct 2026, 10.30am – 9pm daily. Best of all, admission is free. 

At the heart of the 4-day event is the Then & Now collection, a collaboration between Singapore Post and The Straits Times. The set is Singapore’s first-ever lenticular stamp collection, and will be released for general sale on 9 Oct 2026 to mark World Post Day 2026. The stamp shifts from an image of the Fullerton building to a postman when you tilt it, highlighting the change in postage methods from the past to modern times. 

Individual lenticular stamps and the World Post Day MyStamp set go for S$13.80 each, while lenticular postcards cost S$5 each. Beyond collecting brand new exclusive stamps, be sure to check out the Tiny Windows exhibition, which tells the story of Singapore using only stamps. For something more hands-on, there will also be visitor activities such as a stamp rally and custom keychain making.

6. The Long Lunch with Fico

Formula 1 week goes beyond activations and pop-ups with The Long Lunch with Fico, part of Circuit Soleli at Tanjong Beach Club. Fico takes over the sand for a special lunch experience on 8, 9 and 11 Oct 2026, from 12pm until closing. This experience is not to be missed, as you won’t be able to find it at Fico located at East Coast Park or on its regular menu. The menu is specially curated for race week, and you’ll get to enjoy a proper long lunch on the beach with it. 

Start off your meal with Focaccina (S$28), topped with a generous amount of San Marzano tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and basil; it’s an excellent starter. If you’re a seafood lover like me, go for their Paccheri (S$42), featuring half a lobster, clams, squid and prawns for a decadent mix of seafood. Be sure to leave some room in your stomach for the wonderfully indulgent dessert that is Fico’s Tiramisu (S$18).

7. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone In Concert (9 Oct)

Calling all Potterheads, you can revisit the beginning of the iconic wizarding story with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone In Concert on 9 Oct 2026. This is part of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate 25 years of witchcraft and wizardry than to watch the first film that kicked everything off.

Held at The Star Theatre, the performance begins at 7.30pm. The Resound Collective Orchestra, conducted by Benjamin Pope, will perform unforgettable scores live for an immersive experience. The concert will also feature the original film shown in high definition on a large screen. The combination of the high-definition film and live music recreates the original watching experience with a concert twist.

8. Explore the revamped Singapore History Gallery (from 10 Oct)

Rejoice, the Singapore History Gallery at the National Museum of Singapore will reopen its doors on 10 Oct 2026. The reopening marks the Gallery’s first full revamp and the completion of the Museum’s 3-year restoration. With this, you’ll be able to explore more than 700 years of Singapore’s history through artefacts, narratives and immersive spaces.

Journey through the new Gallery with its 7 chronological zones. You’ll be able to trace Singapore’s story from its maritime roots to its colonial era to the Japanese occupation to today. Visitors will also encounter artefacts such as sacred figurines and manuscripts while exploring the zones. Plus, there’re also interactive installations including a recreated rickshaw experience, a Morse code station, and more to play around with.

The reopening also coincides with the Museum’s 139th anniversary celebration, Stories of Everyday. The event will run from 10 – 18 Oct 2026, highlighting the lived experiences of everyday Singaporeans. You can look forward to a market with curated knickknacks such as stationery and ceramics. There will also be an exclusive interactive installation, The National Living Room. Don’t forget to visit Stoney too; he’s the Museum’s adorable new mascot inspired by the Singapore Stone.

9. Watch the Formula 1 race (9 – 11 Oct)

The Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026 returns to the Marina Bay Circuit from 9 – 11 Oct 2026. Something special I’m looking forward to is Singapore’s inaugural Sprint weekend. 

With pit stops not mandatory in Sprint races, I’m expecting to see more high-speed action and dynamic racing on Singapore’s grounds than ever before. The Sprint format also replaces most of the standard practice sessions that the drivers have, so I’m looking forward to seeing how this change affects the pace of 2026’s race. 

Practice 1 starts the race weekend on Fri, 9 Oct, followed by Sprint Qualifying later on in the day. On Sat, 10 Oct, the actual Sprint race will happen, along with Qualifying for the actual race. Finally, the long-awaited race day is on Sun, 11 Oct. Beyond the race, there is also a star-studded entertainment program with performances across different zones. Artists such as JJ Lin, Goo Goo Dolls, Zara Larsson and Janet Jackson are among the names set to perform, alongside other artists over the 3 days.

10. Laugh your heart out during Sands Comedy Season (16 – 18 Oct)

Sands Comedy Season returns to Sands Theatre from 16 – 18 Oct 2026. It brings 3 days of comedy shows featuring performers from our very own Red Dot and China. This is the second edition of the comedy season following its inaugural run in the earlier half of 2026.

Singaporean comedian Mark Lee opens the 3-day programme with Old Horse Still Have Spring 2.0 on 16 and 17 Oct 2026 at 8pm. The 90-minute solo show looks back at his 37 years in show business, along with untold stories. 

On 18 Oct 2026 at 3pm, Xiao Siye, Ji Ye, Dan Ni and Xiao Pa will take the stage with Stand-Up Comedy and Friends Season 3 World Tour. If you’ve enjoyed their comedy on your screen, you can expect the same level of laughter in real life. The same evening, Liang Haiyuan takes over Sands Theatre at 8pm with Three Nights of a Genius. 11. Spend an evening listening to Tchaikovsky (24 Oct)

Classical music fans can spend an evening with Tchaikovsky at Victoria Concert Hall on 24 Oct 2026. British-Chinese pianist Noah Zhou joins the Last Minute Artist Orchestra for a concert dedicated entirely to the renowned Russian composer. The performance will be conducted by Singaporean conductor Amanda Kye Tan, beginning at 7pm.

The concert follows the orchestra’s debut the previous year, which received an enthusiastic response. Noah Zhou is the first British-born Laureate of the prestigious Rachmaninoff International Piano Competition. He’ll take on the piano solo for the concerto, creating an evening devoted entirely to Tchaikovsky. You can look forward to Tchaikovsky’s iconic Piano Concerto No. 1 and his beloved Symphony No. 5 for a thrilling programme.

12. Catch Des Bishop Live in Singapore (26 Oct)

Irish-American comedian Des Bishop will bring his stand-up comedy to Singapore on 26 Oct 2026. The show will take place at Victoria Theatre from 8pm and is rated R18. He is known for his observational comedy and conversational storytelling, so you can expect a live comedy show that blends thoughtful ideas with a relaxed, human touch. Fun fact: Bishop speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and has also worked in China before.

For the Singapore show, audiences can look forward to a performance built around brand-new material. His jokes explore topics related to personal experiences, cultural differences, language, travel and more, packing the show full of diverse jokes. By drawing from such topics, Bishop delivers comedy that transcends backgrounds and generations. Rather than relying on cliché punchlines or aggressive humour, he takes an easy-going approach to stand-up, weaving observations and stories into his show. Do note that tickets to the show are mobile-only and must be presented for admission.

13. Lulu’s Lounge Carnival of the Absurd (30 & 31 Oct)

Halloween weekend gets a theatrical makeover at Lulu’s Lounge. Carnival of the Absurd on 30 and 31 Oct 2026 is a 2-night takeover of the nightclub, transforming its classic lounge elegance into something darker and spookier. Hosted by Becca D Bus, these 2 nights combine live jazz, burlesque, cabaret, DJs and interactive entertainment. 

Both nights begin with Lulu’s signature live jazz from 6pm – 9pm, before the lounge shifts into a late-night carnival. On Fri, 30 Oct, burlesque performer Lycheebye will headline a high-glamour performance among other especially curated Halloween festivities. To end off the evening, resident DJs will play a mesmerising mix of Disco, Classic House, and Analogue hits. 

Sat, 31 Oct turns things up a notch with a Halloween-edition Cabaret along with surprise interactive live entertainment guaranteed to keep you engaged. Resident DJs will play music on this night as well. You can expect music from the golden era of Hip-Hop on this night.

15. Have a spooky night at Halloween Horror Nights 14 (till 1 Nov)

Halloween Horror Nights is back this year with its 14th edition. For 18 select nights until 1 Nov 2026, enjoy a night full of thrills and scares. There are 4 original haunted houses this year, with the central theme being a cursed Karang Guni. You can look forward to eerie and elaborate sets with intricate designs. You’ll be fully immersed in the story of each haunted house. My personal favourite is Chatterbox Charlie’s Vaudeville Horrors, starring the ventriloquist Chatterbox Charlie and his uncanny dummy, Junior. 

The scares continue outside the haunted house with 2 immersive zones, so be careful while walking around. The scare actors may approach you, and you can even take a picture with them. The only thing to note is not to touch them. You can also expect 3 live shows throughout the night. The evening begins with the opening Scaremony, and you can catch Nail the Beat and Club PanDEMONium as well.
