10 best F1 Singapore Grand Prix events you shouldn’t miss

The Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026 hits the city circuit 9 – 11 Oct 2026, but there’s more to explore than just the race. Everyone’s getting in on the act and you may already have noticed Formula 1 pop-ups here and there. Throughout the 2026 F1 GP Singapore season, there will be a huge range of exciting themed musical acts, motorsport experiences and many other fun things to do.

Here is our guide to the best F1 events and experiences you can look forward to during Grand Prix Season Singapore 2026.

How I chose the best F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026 events

These are the 3 main criteria I used to decide which events to recommend:

• Variety: The main criterion — these events range from exhibitions to more interactive experiences, so there’s something for everyone.
• Timing: A very close second factor — all occur around the Grand Prix Season Singapore 2026, so you can really soak in all the festivities. 
• Accessibility: A very close third — I included events located in different parts of Singapore so you can pick the one most convenient for you.

This isn’t a ranked best-to-worst F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026 events list, but a collection of the best in my opinion, in no particular order. Get ready to cheer on your favourite team.

—The Main Event—

1. The Race (9 – 11 Oct)

At the heart of Singapore’s F1 season is the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026 itself. It’ll take place at the Marina Bay Street Circuit from 9 – 11 Oct 2026. Something special I’m looking forward to is Singapore’s inaugural Sprint weekend. With this new addition, I’m expecting more high-speed action compared to previous years. 

The Sprint is a short race, covering 100km which is around one-third of a usual Grand Prix distance, lasting around 30 minutes. Plus, pit stops are not mandatory in Sprint races, meaning we will be able to see even more dynamic racing. 

The action begins on Fri, 9 Oct with Practice 1, then the Sprint Qualifying to determine the drivers’ positions for the actual Sprint itself. Excitement builds over to the next day, Sat, 10 Oct, with the Sprint race and Qualifying for the actual race. Similarly, the Qualifying will determine the drivers’ positions for the long-awaited race day, happening on Sun, 11 Oct.

2. The Top 3 to look out for

The 2026 Drivers’ Championship is already taking shape. At the time of writing, the top 3 drivers on the leaderboard are Kimi Antonelli from Mercedes (#1 at 292 points), George Russell from Mercedes (#2 at 211 points) and Lewis Hamilton from Ferrari (#3 at 191 points).

Antonelli made his Free Practice debut during the Italian Grand Prix 2024 at Monza, where he unfortunately crashed out within the opening 10 minutes. 2 years down the line (or track), he won the Italian Grand Prix 2026 after starting from the 19th position. In addition to this, he became the first Italian to win the home race since Ludovico Scarfiotti in 1966. 

Russell, his teammate, sits second in the championship. Their battle is definitely one worth following, especially when their cars are near each other on the track. Hamilton is third for Ferrari and brings plenty of experience to the grid. Lando Norris from McLaren (#4 at 186 points), Charles Leclerc from Ferrari (#5 at 167 points) and Max Verstappen from Red Bull Racing (#6 at 145 points) are also within the leading group.

Mercedes leads the 2026 Constructors’ Championship with 503 points. Ferrari trails behind with 358 points, and McLaren is third with 306 points.

3. Musical Acts (9 – 11 Oct)

The Singapore Grand Prix 2026 is more than just the race for some, boasting a strong line-up of entertainment programmes from chart-topping headliners. Along with their mesmerising stage production, the musical acts spanning the 3 days are not to be missed. Performances will take place across various zones and stages; here is the map. 

On Fri, 9 Oct, look forward to performances by headliners JJ Lin, Split Enz and CORTIS. You can also look forward to the F1 Driver’s Fan Forum happening at the Wharf Stage from 2.30pm – 3.10pm. There’ll also be DJ stages from iconic names such as DJ Snake and Major Lazer, among others.

Now, I’m personally most excited for the performances on Sat, 10 Oct, with artists such as Goo Goo Dolls, The Killers and Zara Larsson gracing the stage as headliners. Similarly, there’ll be the F1 Driver’s Fan Forum and DJ stages. 

On the last day, Sun, 11 Oct, there will be performances from headliners Lana Del Rey, Janet Jackson and James Arthur. Following the previous 2 days, there’ll also be DJ stages to jam out to.

4. Orchard Paddock 2026 (8 – 10 Oct)

Didn’t secure tickets but still want to soak in good music and enjoy the festivities? We got you — attend Orchard Paddock 2026. The event is a new addition to the Grand Prix Season Singapore, making its debut from 8 to 10 Oct 2026. It will take place at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza daily from 4pm – 12am, perfect for heading down after work and enjoying the night. Best of all, admission is free, with both complimentary and paid activities to take part in.

The event blends motorsport activities, food, entertainment and live performances in one location. You’ll be able to watch live performances by local artists such as 53A, Reverie & Dreamsound and headliners YAØ & Alyph. Besides good music, there’s also good food; with a dedicated F&B zone, your tummy is in for a treat. 

For those wanting more thrill, check out their activity pit-stops, with car displays, a drift track, a racing simulator and more; it’s sure to pump up your adrenaline.

5. Ray-Ban’s Beyond The Track (1 – 14 Oct)

Taking over CQ @ Clarke Quay from 1 to 14 Oct 2026 is Ray-Ban’s Beyond The Track. The event will jazz up the already bustling riverside precinct with Scuderia Ferrari F1 action. It’ll take place from 11am – 10pm on most days. The exception being 1 Oct 2026, where it’s closed from 6pm – 9.30pm and 7 Oct 2026, when it will be closed from 2pm – 6.30pm.

Need some sunnies? You’ll be able to take a closer look at the 3 limited-edition pieces from their Scuderia Ferrari collection. Explore their designs, with one being inspired by the Ferrari 499P, the other built from linen fiber and the last one being designed by Lewis Hamilton himself. 

Besides the sunglasses, tackle their race-themed challenges. You’ll be able to try out race simulators, pit stop challenges and reflex tests to see if you have what it takes to be a Formula 1 pit crew or driver. Beyond the activities and limited-edition pieces, supporters of the Ferrari team will be ecstatic to know you may even catch a glimpse of a Scuderia Ferrari HP Driver on 7 Oct 2026.

6. Race To Indulgence (till 11 Oct)

Race To Indulgence runs across 6 different participating malls in Singapore. The malls are Bugis Junction, Bugis+, CQ @ Clarke Quay, Funan, Plaza Singapura and Raffles City Shopping Centre. There will be race-themed pop-ups, immersive displays and stores selling official F1 merchandise in this programme. 

Some highlights include Raffles City Shopping Centre’s 3 different events to explore. The first is an Adidas x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team pop-up. It has a showcar display, perfect for snapping pictures for your social media, as well as simulator challenges. Next, head over to the Breitling F1 Experience pop-up, with exhilarating racing simulators and reaction challenges. Lastly, deck yourself out with exclusive gear from your beloved F1 teams at the Official F1 Merchandise Booth.

The next highlight for me personally is the Adidas x Audi Revolut F1 Team pop-up at Funan Level 1 Atrium. Here, you’ll be able to admire the Audi R26 F1 show car up close and personal on 29 Sep 2026. Plus, it’ll sport a special Singapore edition livery on 8 Oct 2026.

7. Festival of Thrills motorsport activations

Located at WEAVE in Resorts World Sentosa are 2 motorsports pop-ups. They are part of the wider island-wide programme, Festival of Thrills. At Basement 1, there is Race Season Takes Over, where you can test out your racing instincts with their simulators and put your reflexes to the test in a tyre-changing game. 

Head up to Level 1’s Lenovo Gaming Zone where you will be able to experience what it’s like to be an F1 driver. How, you may ask? There are various activities you can experience which simulates the precision, pressure and critical decision-making skills of race day, such as simulators and mini games.

Besides these 2 pop-ups, Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) fans will be delighted to know that there’ll also be exclusive activations. You’ll be able to get a close up look at a full-scale VCARB showcar until 12 Oct 2026, which is the image on the right hand side above. But wait, you’ll not only get to see the car, but also the drivers themselves. 

On 7 Oct 2026, there will be an exclusive meet-and-greet with VCARB drivers, Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad. Team Principal Alan Permane and CEO Peter Bayer will be present as well. You can catch this live session happening at Basement 1 of WEAVE.

8. Singapore Night Race 2026

Scuderia Ferrari HP fans will definitely get familiarised with all the nooks and crannies of Marina Bay Sands during the Singapore Grand Prix Season. Through Marina Bay Sands and Scuderia Ferrari HP’s partnership, they will be joining the race-season festivities with displays, pop-ups and more.

You’ll be able to get up close with a Scuderia Ferrari HP racing car at the Hotel Lobby Tower 1 until 12 Oct 2026. That’s not the only car on display, though; check out the Ferrari Testa Rossa J Car at The Shoppes, Level B2M from 20 Sep to 25 Oct 2026.

Who else likes to stare out into the iconic Marina Bay skyline when you’re there? From 28 Sep to 11 Oct 2026, Marina Bay Sands and ArtScience Museum will be illuminated in red. Following the signature red of the team, the lights will turn crimson red at 7pm – 11.59pm. This is perfect for gazing out into the distance or for photo opportunities.

—Shows & Exhibitions—

9. F1 Exhibition (till 18 Oct)

For fans of Formula 1 who want to take a deeper dive into its world, head to the F1 Exhibition before 18 Oct 2026. This year is the exhibition’s debut in Asia, with Singapore being the lucky country hosting the exhibition. 

Held at Gardens by the Bay, the exhibition focuses more on the history, technology and making of the sport. With the exhibition being divided into 7 themed rooms and covering more than 75 years of the sport, you’re in for a wonderful experience. There are also interactive games for you to try out, such as reaction tests and more. 

Expect to see historic racing cars, race suits, helmets, archival footage and interviews in the exhibition. This will definitely give you insight into the sport. Some iconic cars you can look forward to are the Red Bull RB7 (2011 Championship-winning car driven by Sebastian Vettel) and the Williams FW15C.

Ticket prices range from S$29 for ages 5 to 12, S$40 for ages 13 to 17, and S$49 for ages 18 and above. If you’re a Singapore citizen, permanent resident or valid pass holder, congrats, you’ll get 20% off your tickets.

10. McLaren Racing Live (7 Oct)

Calling all McLaren fans: for 1 night only, on 7 Oct 2026, McLaren Racing Live – In Conversation with Zak Brown and Oscar Piastri will take place. The event will be held at the Sands Theatre at 7.30pm, with the session being approximately 75 minutes long.

You’ll get a chance to hear all about McLaren here. What’s even better is that it’s directly from McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown and driver Oscar Piastri. The talk will cover the team’s history, its generations of racing icons and champions and more. You’ll also get to understand how McLaren has grown into the team it is today. They’ll also discuss the current season, where you can get a closer understanding of what goes on behind the scenes. 

I believe this event is particularly timely for the 2026 season, with major changes to the sport’s technical regulations, including new engine and aerodynamic regulations. The changes are sure to bring a different set of challenges. They’ll share their perspectives and offer some insights now that they have approached the new era of F1 as well.
