We all know that feeling of finding the perfect spot for lunch after hours of scouring the web, getting ready to finally leave the house, and braving through traffic jams and large crowds at the train station, just to find out that the shop has a long line snaking around the building with a 2 hour wait time. Not to mention the weather— the sun is scorching! And you left your umbrella at home!

With AirAsia Super App’s latest feature, say goodbye to every foodie’s worst nightmare: queuing up for food. The airline company has introduced its Queuing Service for locals and tourists alike who are looking for the best of the best in Bangkok. As of now, you can reserve dinner spots at 5 of the city’s participating street food locations: CQK HOTPOT, Jeh O Chula (as seen on the Michelin Guide), Lek Seafood Yaowarat, Khun Ple Mookata and Yi Ja Suki Mala

  1. Be punctual, as you’re not allowed to change the time slot.
  2. You can’t change the number of seats you reserve.
  3. If you decide to cancel the reservation, you will not receive a refund.

Reserving a spot through the app is fairly simple. Follow these steps:

  2. Select the ‘Food’ icon, then press ‘Queuing Service’.
  3. Choose one of the 5 restaurants mentioned above.
  4. Key in the number of seats you want to reserve.
  5. Agree to the app’s terms and conditions.
  6. Verify your restaurant of choice.
  7. Book your slot by selecting the time and date.
  8. Pay the service fee.

Next time you’re planning a trip to Bangkok, be sure to install the AirAsia Super App to save time. Instead of waiting in line, you’ll get to spend your day sight-seeing, shopping, or trying out even more good food!
