Hor Chiak Street Food Fair: Taiwanese Takeover At AMK Hub From Now Till 28 July

Singapore is home to such a wide selection of food, and we just can’t get enough!

Fellow foodies, you’ll want to schedule a trip down to Hor Chiak Street Food Fair to snag some yummy snacks from now till 28 July 2019.

As we gear up to celebrate our food-loving nation, check out these 10 stalls at AMK Hub Basement 2 Atrium! From creative bubble tea concoctions to Taiwanese takeaways, this gastronomical affair is bound to leave you awestruck.

Truth be told, I am not over the bubble tea craze yet, and I hope you aren’t either. Thankfully, the food fair will feature Alley – Tea & Boba, whom we only catch a glimpse of during pop-up events like these!

We managed to grab a cup of their signature Brown Sugar Creme Brûlée (S$5.30/medium, S$6.30/large). 

I’m always happy to welcome a new contender for the best boba in Singapore. True to its name, the cream topping was seared for the finishing touches. We’re giving this plus points just for being in AMK Hub, making it way more convenient to get my fancy boba fix.

For something savoury, we popped by 8 Degrees Taiwanese Bistro for their Oyster Mee Sua (S$5). Slurping up a bowl of mee sua topped with fresh oysters certainly brought us back to the streets of Taiwan.

• The Munchmunch Co. — Singapore’s first Cheesecake On A Stick
• Waffles Factory — Belgian Waffles, Wraps and more

I think an exclamation of “jin hor chiak!” (“so delicious” in Hokkien) is the only appropriate response when devouring these delectable delights.
