With a name like Bailey and Whiskey, one would automatically assume this new establishment to be a watering hole, right? Well, you’re wrong. Bailey and Whiskey is a newly opened family-owned cafe in the Southern part of Singapore—Depot Heights Shopping Centre. The quaint cafe, a namesake of the family’s two pets, is beautifully furnished to give you homely vibes.
The interior is fully decked in an industrial and wood finish, and is filled with a couple of dinosaur and animal plushies. Adorable, right?
Menu-wise, it is your quintessential cafe serving up the usuals like Avocado Salmon Toast (S$18), Honey Drizzled Mascarpone Toast (S$14), Pasta (choice of three flavours at S$18 each), and a good ol’ Burger (S$19.50). They also have a counter display with cakes and pastries.
Their Whiskey’s French Toast (S$16) seems to be well-raved about but Gracey’s Choco (S$8.50) is the one that caught my eye. Gracey’s Choco is essentially a cup of hot chocolate that is made using melted chocolate, and is part of their secret menu. However, it has yet to find a permanent taste on their regular menu as majority of folks usually head down for their cuppa Joe.
If you’re looking for a quiet place in the heartland to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, Bailey and Whiskey will guarantee a roarin’ good time.
