New in town: Beigelhaus, Tanjong Pagar — Muslim-owned bagel cafe sells thick bagels with fillings like Salmon and Beef Brisket

What’s thick, fluffy and stuffed with an assortment of delectable ingredients? A bagel, of course. Fellow bagel lovers can rejoice at the opening of Beigelhaus, a new Muslim-owned bagel cafe in the Tanjong Pagar vicinity.

Located along Robinson Road, Beigelhaus specialises in a variety of stunning bagels and wraps with generous fillings. Fill yourself up with The Corned Cow (S$14), a bagel consisting of corned beef brisket, gherkins and yellow mustard.

The Pink Loxy (S$16) is an enticing option too, filled with cured salmon, cream cheese, red onions, capers, confit tomatoes and apple & fennel salad.

Beigelhaus offers vegetarian bagel options too, such as The Fake-R (S$15), containing plant-based meat, truffle mushroom, kombu butter and pickled red cabbage, and The SEC (S$15), which has scamorza, emmental, smokey cheddar, pickled red cabbage, confit tomatoes and parsley pesto.

Beigelhaus also sells bagels filled with homemade schmears (aka spreads), which are more affordably priced at S$6 and under.

For S$5, you can get their Roasted Honey Garlic Butter or Kaya + Cream Cheese varieties. Meanwhile, S$6 can get you their Rhubarb Jam + Cream Cheese, Kombu Butter, Truffle Mushroom + Cream Cheese and Hazella + Cream Cheese flavours.

Why not have a drink to go with your bagel? Choose from Beigelhaus’ selection of cafe drinks, including an assortment of coffees like an Americano (S$5 for hot, S$5.50 for cold) or a Mocha (S$6 for hot, S$6.50 for cold).

Alternatively, treat yourself to a milkshake, like Two P’s (S$7.50), which is made with butterfly pea, peach, vanilla and milk, or Single Shot (S$8), consisting of one espresso shot, marshmallows, vanilla and milk.
