If you’re passionate about exploring food, you’ve probably stumbled upon CC by Mel and Belly and  in KL. They recently revealed a collaboration and it’s stirring up excitement among foodies. The joint venture — Belly & Mel, can be found nestled in the vibrant area of Mont Kiara.

Belly is a restaurant that specialises in a distinctive blend of Western and Chinese cuisine, while CC by Mel is renowned for its Japanese-inspired fusion dishes. Both eateries have earned a special place in the hearts of their patrons for their outstanding food. Now, their collaborative menu will unite Japanese, Chinese, and Western flavours for a truly diverse dining experience.

The menu offers a diverse selection across 15 categories, including appetisers, mains, soups, and desserts. Food neophiliacs seeking culinary excitement might enjoy the Szechuan Duck Confit (RM38) served with risotto and glazed plum sauce.

If you’re looking for something different, give the Not-Classic Carbonara (RM25) a try; it offers a unique twist with the addition of fermented bean curd in pasta. Another standout is the Nacc Lemak (RM38), blending sambal with a Japanese don. These dishes are sure to blow your mind away!

Belly & Mel is also the perfect spot for a satisfying brunch. Treat yourself to their recommended Crabbie Scramble Egg (RM19), complete with sourdough, crab meat, and ebiko for a delightful start to your day.

You also have the option to build your own brunch with Your Breakie (RM12). Choose between a croissant (+RM2) or sourdough as your base. Then, select either scrambled eggs or sunny side up and complement it with your choice of Bolognese baked beans or baked potato. If you’re looking for more, consider adding extras like Salmon Fillet (RM15), Half Avocado (RM6), or other tempting options.
