Working from the comfort of our homes can make us more susceptible to lazing around. To prevent such occurrences, this Hot Brew Americano by Babinski can help resist the temptation of taking a quick nap.

Available at some 7-Eleven stores, each cup of coffee is priced at S$3.50each. This packaged bottle of Americano is made in collaboration with Charles Babinski, an American barista who clinched first place in the 2015 United States Barista Championship. The hot brew is packaged with a conspicuous and opulent red, each featuring a BTS member face, to commemorate BTS’ new album, Map of the Soul: Persona. There are seven designs to collect—Jungkook, J-Hope, Jimin, RM, Jin, Suga, and V.

This marks the second edition where 7-Eleven Singapore hosted a similar collaboration with BTS in July 2019 to celebrate the band’s sixth anniversary.

I took in the wonderful aroma of the coffee and a delicate mix of floral and earthy scents greeted me. This bottle of hot brew has a strong roasted flavour and robust base notes. It had a hint of vivacious bitterness, gentle sweetness, and crisp acidity albeit the artificial coffee flavouring. At only 10 calories, this bottle of coffee is a perfect low-calorie caffeine boost.

With that said, these new limited-edition coffee bottles sold like hotcakes and with the sweltering heat in Singapore, it really took all my Blood Sweat & Tears to land myself with some. Personally, I thought it was a respectable bottle of Americano but without its branding, it may not be something I would go out of my way to repurchase, especially with it being priced at S$3.50 each.

To get some of these highly- coveted collectables, a little birdie told me that they might be restocking them this Saturday, 4 April 2020. To help you out a little, head down to the 7-Eleven stores near Braddell MRT, Clementi, Jurong East, and Gombak. Not all stores have them on the racks, so all the best to all the ARMYs islandwide! In the spirit of #SGUNITED, comment down below if you know any other locations where you can find them.

Dates & Times: Available from 28 March 2020 at all 7-Eleven outlets while stocks last
