Buttrmilk has recently opened its first food court stall located at Shaw House’s Food Republic on 27 Nov 2022. The new launch will be the franchise’s eighth outlet.

Buttrmilk is a Southern-style fried chicken and waffles eatery that first opened in late 2021 at KINEX. It came from the same people that brought us other restaurants such as 800 Degrees Woodfired Pizza, Fatburger and Blimpie.

For a Western food court stall, Buttrmilk will definitely turn some heads with its extensive menu. You can expect to get the tried and true Buttrmilk offerings like Drumstick & Thigh Combo (S$9.90/S$11.90) that comes with coleslaw and tater tots or rice. You can also get Chicken Wings (S$2.50/S$5/S$9) that comes with either BBQ or hot sauce.

Those who enjoy the marriage of savoury and sweet should opt for The Buttrmilk Original (S$7.50) which is a boneless fried chicken breast sandwiched in a crispy fluffy waffle. If waffles aren’t your thing, you can opt for Pancakes (S$4.90) which you can have with Turkey Ham and Fried Egg (S$6.90).

There are even burger options such as Beef Bolognese Burger (S$6.50/S$8.50), Double Cheeseburger (S$8.50/S$10.50) and Hamburger with Fried Egg (S$6.50/S$8.50).
Light eaters can choose from a variety of sandwiches such as Egg & Cheese (S$4.50/S$6.50), Grilled Chicken (S$6.90/S$8.90) and Turkey Ham & Cheese (S$4.50/S$6.50).

If that isn’t enough, it also has a pasta menu where you can get Spaghetti Marinara (S$5.90), Turkey Ham Carbonara (S$7.90), Beef Bolognese (S$8.90) and Mushroom Aglio Olio (S$8.90). End off the meal with Churros (S$6.90) with a choice of chocolate or gula melaka dip.
