Whenever Christmas arrives, a multitude of events and activities emerge across the country. In fact, there might be so many that you can’t track them all or know which to go for. With that in mind, we’ve come up with a list of some of the best places to visit this holiday season, from Christmas markets to pop-up events to malls.

1. Gardens by the Bay

This season, few places are as packed with Christmas vibes as Gardens by the Bay. With both the Christmas Wonderland and the Christmas Train Show held here, you’d find it hard to not feel the festive cheer when you visit.

This year’s Christmas Wonderland at Supertree Grove features an expanded fairground with new activities and attractions, while the Christmas Train Show at Flower Dome is back for its second edition with more model trains, flowers and iconic structures.

Whether it’s experiencing snowfall at the Christmas Wonderland or cooler temperatures in the Flower Dome conservatory, it will definitely look and feel a lot more like Christmas. Both events are ticketed, so be sure to grab yours before they sell out!

2. Jewel & Changi Airport

You might not be travelling this December holiday, but you can still feel like you’re going on a Christmas vacation when you drop by Jewel and Changi Airport this month. Changi Airport’s Jewel, Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 are all featuring Disney Cruise Line-themed installations and photo spots. If you visit at the right time, you might even get a chance to meet & greet familiar characters like Captain Mickey and Iron Man!

What I would personally want to experience is The Magic of Adventure at Jewel Forest Valley, where there is a 16-metre-tall Festive Tree of Adventure, a Disney-themed Light & Music Show, and nightly snowfall sessions.

If you’re a cat person, Christmas in Singapore this year is extra fur-tastic. That’s because Mofusand, the popular, whimsical and fluffy cat characters from Japan, can be spotted at 17 CapitaLand Malls around Singapore from now till 31 Dec. This includes Bugis Junction, Plaza Singapura, Aperia Mall, Westgate and more.

These cute creatures appear in Instagram-worthy installations with a holiday twist, and are part of Southeast Asia’s first-ever Mofusand festive celebration. Highlights to look out for are the 8-metre-tall Donut Meow inflatable at Plaza Singapura, and the Mofusand Christmas Tree outside Raffles City.

There are also Mofusand Pop-up Stores with exclusive merchandise and purchase-with-purchase premiums. For the full list of pop-ups and installations, click here.

You will find different festive zones, each with its own flair and flavour. For example, Dancer’s Magical Playground is the main festival arena with Christmas musicals and live acts. Dasher’s Festive Feast is a collection of stalls and vendors serving seasonal treats. Comet’s Global Market is an artisanal food market bringing together international festive delights.

Beyond just the long stretch of lights and decorations you can appreciate, there are also Great Christmas Villages you can visit, complete with food, drinks, carnival games and rides. There are also vendors selling Christmas-themed accessories and goodies. Take a walk on Orchard Road if you haven’t yet!

But there is also a range of family-friendly workshops that are just fitting for the Christmas season. 11. Marina Bay Sands

Christmas 2025 places - Marina Bay Sands

When I walked through The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands recently, I was pleasantly surprised. What greeted me was a floating Christmas tree forest and friendly toy soldiers hanging out at different parts of the mall. If I hadn’t chanced upon this, I wouldn’t have known that Marina Bay Sands also has its own nutcracker-themed Christmas celebration.

If you’d like to soak in this whimsical, festive atmosphere, you can do so from now to 29 Dec. With 88 nutcracker butlers and 190 Christmas trees spread across different floors, you will definitely find many photo opportunities. There are also a couple of larger-than-life installations to spot, such as the Midnight Toy Factory

At 7.30pm and 8.30pm daily, The Nutcracker’s Butler Concerto showcase will also take place at the Levitating Fir Forest, complete with twinkling lights, animations and music. Don’t miss this if you want to witness festive storytelling come to life.
