More and more bicycle-themed cafes have been rather popular as of late because of the growing cycling community. A space made out of the love for coffee and vintage steel, Ciclo e Caffè has opened its newest outlet at Telok Blangah, which serves as a resting stop-over spot for cycling fanatics while continuing to serve up fantastic cups of coffee and gelato.

The bicycle cafe features unique bicycle parts following a retro rustic theme. Just sit by one of their bar chairs and you’ll understand what I mean! They’ve included bicycle pedals on their chairs to mimic the whole act of cycling. Super innovative and a very good way of reusing old parts!

Unlike their Changi Village outlet, their high seats are placed outside, with the coffee counter and gelato station both facing the entrance. Behind, they have a vintage bike collection of bicycles and jerseys from the Singapore cycling scene— try asking the staff to give you a backstory about them!

They serve up a good cup of coffee featuring adorable latte art, with their signature being the dark roast which is made out of 100% Colombian beans. This offers a bolder flavour once you take a sip into your cup. For fruitier notes, opt for the medium roast.

Their ice cream offerings features crowd favourite flavours like the Roasted pistachio and Yuzu mint sorbet, which goes for S$12 for 2 scoops in a cup. Their gelato is milky and thick, so be assured that you’re getting scoops of premium quality.

Unlike most themed cafes, Ciclo e Caffè serves up exceptional spreads of ice cream and drinks. Themed cafes usually compromise on the flavour because they prioritise the outlook of the whole cafe over the food, however, Ciclo e Caffè brings to you a pleasant surprise. Guess it’s time to pay it a visit!
