If you want to do your part to save the Earth, one way is to use energy-friendly electrical appliances. From 15 Apr, HDB (Housing Development Board) and private households can claim an additional S$100 in climate vouchers, on top of the existing S$300. This means that eligible HDB and private households can claim a total of S$400 climate vouchers.

The vouchers are valid until 31 Dec 2027. You can use them at over 150 participating retailers with over 500 outlets to buy energy- and water-efficient household products.

Launched in 2020, the Climate Friendly Households Programme (CFHP) is a joint initiative by the National Environment Agency and the Public Utilities Board. It aims to encourage households to take action to become more efficient in their energy and water consumption.

In 2024, the CFHP was expanded to include households in private residences. It was also enhanced to provide S$300 in Climate Vouchers to all households, up from the S$225. The additional S$100 of climate vouchers for eligible households were announced in Budget 2025.

How do I claim the S$400 climate vouchers?

Visit go.gov.sg/cv-claim and tap on ‘Climate Vouchers (S$100)’. Log in using your Singpass. Only 1 household member needs to do this. Receive the SMS link to your Climate Vouchers from gov.sg. Repeat the steps to claim Climate Vouchers (S$300), if you have not done so.

To spend the vouchers, present your proof of address with voucher. Choose the amount to spend. Then tap on ‘Show voucher’. Show the QR code to cashier for him or her to scan it.
