Moving, renovating or simply want to upgrade your home appliances? Claim S$300 in climate vouchers from the government as part of its Climate Friendly Households Programme (CFHP). This expanded climate voucher program announced on 15 Apr 2024 ups the amount, widens eligibility and can now be used for even more appliances.

When it was launched in 2020, the original CFHP climate voucher program allocated just S$225 in e-vouchers to 1-, 2- and 3-room HDB households. With the expanded CFHP, every HDB household with a Singaporean or PR occupant is eligible. The 33% increase to S$300 is also a welcome boost.

Another helpful change is that the expanded CHFP climate voucher program now covers 10 separate categories of home fittings and appliances. Initially, the e-vouchers could only be used for refrigerators, shower fittings and LED lights.

Here are the 10 categories included in the expanded CFHP climate voucher program:

  • Refrigerators (3 ticks and above)
  • Air conditioners (5 ticks and above)
  • Direct current (DC) fans (if with lights, they must be LED)
  • LED lights (2 ticks and above)
  • Heat pump water heaters
  • Washing machines (4 ticks)
  • Water closets (3 ticks)
  • Sink/Bib taps and mixers (3 ticks)
  • Basin taps and mixers (3 ticks)
  • Shower fittings (3 ticks)

The climate vouchers of the old CFHP expired in Mar 2024. The new expanded CFHP climate e-vouchers will be valid till 31 Dec 2027. If you redeemed the earlier tranche of vouchers, you’ll be happy to know that you are still eligible to claim this new set.

There are currently 314 retail locations to redeem your expanded CFHP climate e-vouchers. They are from these 14 stores and chains:

  • Audio House
  • Bathroom Warehouse
  • Best Denki
  • Chuan Heng Hardware
  • Cold Storage
  • Courts
  • FairPrice
  • Gain City
  • Giant
  • Harvey Norman
  • Mega Discount Store
  • Sheng Shiong
  • S. Yong Trading
  • Woodlands Domestic Electrical

You don’t have to spend the entire windfall at once, either. The expanded CFHP climate e-vouchers come in a set of 24 split into denominations of $2, $5, $10 and $50 to total S$300.
