Most people still don’t know what NFTs (or non-fungible tokens) are. But convert it into ice cream flavours and you’ll definitely have an interested crowd. Meet the first ever NFT-themed ice cream parlour in Malaysia, Crème De La Crème (CDLC) located in Sunway Pyramid.

Bored Ape, CryptoPunk, and Doodles— these exclusive ice cream flavours were inspired by three main blue-chipped NFTs.

Made from delicious French milk chocolate ice cream, and swirled with caramelised bananas and freshly baked chocolate crumble— you’ll be going bananas at one lick with Bored Ape!

Inspired by the alien-skin blue-chipped NFT, CryptoPunk #5822, this NFT sold for a record-breaking USD23.7 million dollars (approximately RM104.8 million ringgit). Bite into rich Australian cream cheese ice cream swirled with butterfly pea flower ice cream, decked with decadent burnt cheesecake chunks.

Just like how the NFT Doodles come in a joyful range of colours, similarly CDLC’s Doodles ice cream uses butterfly pea flower, lychee sorbet, peach sorbet, and Madagascar vanilla ice cream to create the similar fantasy colour palette.

CDLC ensures their ice cream is made of 100 percent natural ingredients. This means no artificial flavourings, colourings, or preservatives. Just natural, pure deliciousness.

Last but not least, the curated collection of NFTs at the outlet is worth over USD$1 million. Besides admiring the blue-chipped NFTs at the parlour, patrons can share their personal pieces with CDLC to be exhibited on their LED-display screens. In addition, CDLC also hopes that the Sunway Pyramid outlet can be a collaborative space for the NFT community to immerse themselves.

You scream. I scream. With such yummy flavours, who’s not screaming for ice cream?
