FHA-Food & Beverage 2023 is back with a sustainable vision for the future

Asia’s largest food and beverage trade event is back! FHA-Food & Beverage 2023 will be held from 25 Apr to 28 Apr 2023 at the Singapore EXPO, EXPO Halls 3 to 6.

FHA-Food & Beverage 2023 will feature 1500 exhibitors from the food and beverage and hospitality industries from 70 different countries. With well over 50 country pavilions, they are proud to announce that the China Pavilion will be returning for the first time since the pandemic.

At the expo, guests can expect to have a taste of food from around the globe at the food sampling zones, masterclasses, and competitions. There will also be daily seminars discussing trends in the industry, sustainability and safety in food, agritech, the continuously expanding halal food scene, and the importation and exportation of food.

This year, the expo is highlighting the Alternative Protein Asia (APA) exhibition area. As meat alternatives grow more and more popular each year, it is believed that alternative protein is a contemporary solution in overcoming food security issues.

They aim to cast a spotlight on these innovations through dedicated exhibition zones and Tasting Bars where guests can sample their products. In conjunction with this effort to spread awareness about alternative proteins to Asian audiences, industry professionals will be sharing their experiences and strategies in cultivating a sustainable future during the Alternative Protein Asia Seminar.

Another main focus of FHA-Food & Beverage 2023 is food sustainability. The industry’s sustainability is heavily impacted by the global food crisis and concerns with food waste, so the event aims to showcase and examine technological advancements and solutions.

Lastly, the event intends on celebrating talents in the industry by hosting 2 competitions. The FHA Beer Awards will award brewers for their efforts in the brewing scene in 10 categories like Wheat and Experimental Beers. Through a series of competitions, the Young Talents Escoffier will honour emerging talents in the culinary world who are under 25 years-old.
