Fluff Stack, which has been capturing the essence of Japanese souffle pancakes since 2019, is set to close all outlets island-wide, including its very first store in Suntec City. Fluff Stack’s closure has come as a surprise to those who have been enjoying their desserts regularly.

My heart sank when the announcement was made on 14 May via their Instagram account, signalling the end of an era. When I contacted them on 15 May, they were already closed. Netizens are already lamenting the loss of a good spot for sweet treats made-to-order, especially so soon after the celebration of their 5-year anniversary on 5 Mar.
The Fluff Stack team thanked their patrons for the “incredible support over the past six years” and cited Singapore’s “challenging F&B climate” as the main reason for their closure in the notice.

Fluff Stack is known for its jiggly souffle pancakes with an airy, melt-in-your-mouth consistency and topped with indulgent sauces or refreshing seasonal fruits. These include their Classic Premium Souffle Pancakes (S$13.60) and Mango Passion Fruit Souffle Pancakes (S$15.13).
They rode the trend of croffles as well, offering flaky croissant dough pressed into crisp waffles with their signature toppings. These enticing treats can be shared or eaten alone, with an added scoop of gelato to satiate your sweet tooth.
It’s safe to say that netizens are crushed to see it go. Some were dismayed that they’d never gotten down to trying the popular dessert while Fluff Stack had been active.

As of today, Fluff Stack has confirmed a complete cessation of operations.
