There is nothing like brunch. You get to wake up a little later than usual, and you get to indulge in eggs, avocado, and smoked salmon. Tell me there’s a better Sunday than that. Well, Fuel X at Potong Pasir might just make all our brunch dreams come true.
As one of the subsidiaries of Refuel Café, Refuel 2, and Fuel Plus, Fuel X sees all of these cafes and bumps it up to 100% by having an extensive menu of over 100 items. I know, talk about having the brunch of your dreams. Before we get into the eggs of the matter, let’s talk about the space over at Fuel X and how you will coordinate your outfit.
As this is Fuel X’s most spacious outlet, you should have no problem finding a seat come Saturday morning. Expect a clean, Scandanavian-esque design that comes with marble tops, warm wood accents, and granite floors. I mean, that checks all the boxes for a lot of us, am I right?
As for the menu, it’s quite a mammoth menu that includes items from all their sister outlets. There are perennial favourites such as Fuel Me Up (S$18), where a classic shakshouka with eggs and a hefty slice of sourdough await. If not, get the Full Tank (S$20), which is sure to fuel you up for the rest of the day. If not, indulge in the likes of a Truffle Salmon Mac & Cheese (S$18) or even a classic Carbonara (S$16) is sure to do the trick.
Of course, any brunch date is not complete without a serving of coffee. Whether you like your Flat White (S$5) or Ice Caramel Latte (S$6), Fuel X has got you covered.
With such an extensive menu, it seems like one visit to Fuel X is not enough.
