Manga collections, long lines at sushi restaurants, and gashapon hauls— there’s no denying that Japanese culture has taken over the world by storm. Much like the recent K-wave, fans of Japanese media tend to immerse themselves in the country’s culture as a way to feel closer to the shows and music they love. If you want to take your appreciation to the next level, you should head down to Fuji Autumn Matsuri in Malacca.

There’s a different theme each week, so even if you drop by every week, there’ll be something new to discover. The 1st week centres around Traditional Japan, followed by Modern Japan on the 2nd, Mid-Autumn Festival on the 3rd, and finally signing off with an Anime-themed week.

On week 1, Fuji Autumn Matsuri visitors will get to watch captivating performances such as the kabuki dance, a karate show, traditional dance, and more. Week 2 will feature J-pop performances, a magic show, and a special performance by local singer Hael Husaini.

However, those interested in attending the event more than once can opt for their monthly pass for RM60. The monthly passes are limited though, so act quick!
