Remember when things were normal and going to the movies was the most pedestrian thing one can do on a Friday night? Well, those days seem like a lifetime ago, but perhaps this new deal from Golden Village might make us a little more comfortable with this new normal.

From now till 22 October, everyone gets to relive those sweet days where student pricing made up for the long hours of drudgery in school. Golden Village is offering S$7 weekday movie tickets for movie sessions from 19 October 2020 till 22 October 2020. Yes—not only on Tuesdays when you need to flash your expired student pass to scrimp on those extra couple dollars. It’s all day, at least on those stipulated dates and we do love a discount don’t we.

I know, I know there aren’t any new or exciting releases lately thanks to Ms Rona, but Golden Village has lined up a couple of spooky reruns such as Happy Death Day and The First Purge just in time for Halloween. It’s always a game of fastest fingers first when it comes to promos like these, so set a date quick as this is limited to the first 500 tickets daily.

You can purchase your tickets off the iGV app or directly at the box office and while we do love the premium seats this offer is not available for those seats.

If you are a sucker for collectables, then this is the cherry on top. Not only are the tickets available at this special price, but you can also enjoy the Scoob! Combo at the same price at S$7 as well. This combo comes with a large popcorn, regular drink and a GV-exclusive Scooby-Doo tumbler.

Going to the movies has become quite the event, a time that we will treasure even more now that it is only at S$7 a pop. So in between those banana bread experiments and Dalgona coffee craze, perhaps this is a dose of normal we need to see 2020 till the end

Dates & Times: Promo starts from now till 22 October 2020 for movie sessions 19 October 2020 till 22 October 2020.

Prices: S$7 per ticket
