No plans this weekend? Head down to GREEN-HOUSE 2024 at the latest hotspot, New Bahru for an immersive sustainability festival. Happening on 13 & 14 Jul, the event is jam-packed with hands-on workshops, art installations, and over 80 sustainable home and lifestyle brands. They even have a pet adoption drive!

Organised by Pass It On Studio, the third edition of this experiential retail event is set to be the biggest one yet. Look forward to discovering and shopping for a range of items from furniture to trinkets with eco-friendly brands.

Wandering through the event, attendees can expect to be wowed at every turn with plenty of activities and entertainment to participate in throughout the day. Vendors can be found spread across three zones – Renew, Reimagine & Reconnect.

Within the Renew Zone located on the ground floor, visitors can enjoy sustainability-related talks, eye-opening films for kids and adults in a mini-theatre, and a live DJ. Be blown away by the transformation of waste such as reclaimed luggage fabrics and coconut husk into mesmerising art pieces.

The Reimagine Zone on the second level hosts Mercedes-Benz’s pop-up cafe, Kantine which is serving up a 3-course plant-based menu. Gear up for an electric vehicle test drive and perhaps even adopt a cuddly rabbit from here.

In hopes of inspiring a low-carbon footprint lifestyle, a set of workshops has been carefully curated in collaboration with both established and homegrown brands. This includes the well-known brand Nespresso and a local start-up called Soil Social, which you can find in both of these zones!

Before you enter the Reconnect Zone, don’t forget to prepare a convincing speech on why you need a pet! Trust me, you’ll need it for the Chained Dog Awareness Singapore and Cat Welfare Society’s adoption drives at this level. If that doesn’t work, go ahead and sulk in style at the outdoors campground.

Admission is free and pets are welcome, so grab your friends, family, dogs and cats to GREEN-HOUSE 2024. Hearsay there are giveaways from brands like Castlery, so keep an eye out for them during the event!
