Put on your best monochrome outfit and get that perfect Instagram shot taken at newly opened Grey Area Coffee Roasters, a Korean-inspired cafe boasting the soothing visuals of minimalist grey tones. Adorned with thoughtful touches of elegant marble and wood for that pop of contrast, this looks like a good spot for all my fellow coffee addicts out there.
I’m currently sipping on a coffee myself, though I’ve gotta admit that the little coffee machine that’s keeping me awake isn’t half the experience I’m looking for. When is my turn to get a hot cup of White (S$5) at Grey Area Coffee Roasters?
Coffee enthusiasts should definitely opt for their Filter Coffees (S$6). There are currently three options available— Capim Branco, Los Nogalas, and Uraga Gomoro. The folks at Grey Area Coffee Roasters have gotten some pretty solid feedback about their brews thus far; so if you’re in need of some alone time to destress and unwind after a tiring week, you’ll know where to put at the top of your ‘places to visit’ list.
Since I’m already planning my visit, I think I wouldn’t mind getting one of their chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies (Price TBA) or Brownies (Price TBA) to munch on. It’s luscious, studded with glorious chocolatey goodness…can you hear my stomach growling through your screen?
The owners of Grey Area Coffee Roasters used to be from Alchemist, which no avid coffee drinker is unfamiliar with. If you’re a frequent visitor there, then why not take a break from that routine?
